Yea man, lot of recon, lot of hurry up & wait, then more waiting, then some waiting whilst aligned, more aligining then system change then OMG Finally the Target!!! Then Awesome fun, frick loadsa concord, lots of isk from client. Defo worth the waiting

Thought I'd chime in while you boys are waving your epeens around. The contract on F462 was struck while freighter popping was really just a wet dream in the mind of Outbreak. 
I know that Bladerunners worked hard to pull this one off and my dress is off to them. |

Yes killin Frieghters is so 2 weeks ago. But real men do it in 0.7 not 0.6 with 1 less BS than outbreak and they take the pod as well :)

i dont know it wasnt as simple as lets just turn up and give it a go its safe space and you shoot you pay the consiquences, not one of our ships survived^^

The goal wasn't to try an out do anyone. We had a contract to finish, and we finished it, bottom line. We had to improvise to get the freighter down in a .7 because the reality was, the target was only moving in .7 and higher space for 3 days.
The Alliance was contracted, trained for the contract, and then got the job done. So while pilots may want to pat themselves on the back for it going down in a higher sec system, the bottom line is we got the job we were assigned done.

Exactly, this was not some ploy to try & out do anyone, originally we planned to try to get the job done in a 0.5, but after a few days of recon & waiting it became more than clea that unless we wanted to sit around indefinately then we would have to alter the plan to our next best option. Our recon showed us that our target used the same 2 routes daily which left us the option of Muvolielen or Suroken.
It is saddening that so many of the EvE community are so wrapped in paranoia that they see every action as a conspiracy theory, an attempt to copy someone elses success or as any other act of negatively motivated c**p. Noone is trying to take away from Outbreaks success as the pioneers of successfully hitting a non WT freighter in "Safe Space" & I am sure that Outbreak would agree that if the resources are available to you, anyone with a slight idea of concord responce time & effectivness can pull off an hit like this. The main thing about this for MoA was announcement of successful completion of a contract & that it was frickin good fun that made the recon time worth while. I hiope you paranoid members of the EvE community that always see the decietful, negative & conspiratorial side of any action one day shed all that negativity, you may then find you have as much fun in your game as Mordus Angels or Outbreak etc.

Chuck Norris is definitely "apart" and a part of the EVE Universe. He belongs to the Federal Naval Academy, and has been a sanctioned pilot since 2004.07.12. He would also probably run from us. You need to do some more research before speaking Mr. Mods.
As an after thought, which school in EVE did you get your learning skill packs from? I think they may be a bit defective.
