You see, the problem with the USS Enterprise is that it relies to heavily on it's sheild tank. Currently the setup probably runs something like this:
High Slot: Torpedo Launcher (Loaded with photon torpedos), "Phasers" (Tech II named tachyon lasers), Tractor Beam, unknown high end research modules.
Med Slot: Tech II named afterburners known as "Impulse", some kind of warp enhancment module allowing further warp and instant Cyno activation, 6 capital sheild extenders.
Low slot: Nothing
It's apparent that the Enterprise has no hull defense, and thus forth is to vulnerable if their sheild is vulnerable. Furthormore, I believe they could benefit from a WCS. What do you think? How could they fix their fitting? As we Saw from the Enterprise A in "Star Trek Enterprise" it's possible for them to hold an armor, or "Polarized" tank, so why don't they do this on the C and futher?
(What? Eve needs more light hearted threads)

If thats so CCP can move it, but I just wanted to make a quick jest in fittings. I'm at work so I can't access the Eve client to play and, meh, it just came to mind.

you say there is no drone bay, however i think the USS enterprise is a carrier of some sort, as it can send out little shuttles!

Enterprise is more like a capital ship that we have yet to release in Eve. It's an exploration based capitol ship! Maybe thats what Eve needs, one cap ship for each occupation.
Yes, it can launch shuttles, but only manned shuttles and their combat abilities suck. If anything their only good thing is how far away from the ship they can go.

ok, so it has a drone bay, but can only release amarr drones that think they're fighters? Your signature exceeds the maximum allowed filesize of 24000 bytes -Sahwoolo Etoophie ([email protected]) |

Excuse me while I dork out here for a second...
The Enterprise from the show Enterprise was not the Enterprise A.
Enterprise NX-01 - From the show "Enterprise" Enterprise NCC1701 - From the original series, and the Star Trek movies 1, 2, and 3. Enterprise NCC1701-A - Introduced at the end of Star Trek 4
Okay...I feel better now.

the only real mistake the enterprise made was not fitting their tech III cloacking device that allowed them to fly through matter and shoot from cloacking making them invulnerable to anything. There you go star fleet morale ftw. (now who actually knows what episode from what series i am talking about )

The episode is called The Pegasus from series 7 and is one of my favorite ones!
The Enterprise blatently needs to maximise its passive tank potential with a mixture of shield extenders and power relays without sacrificing its DPS by using damage rigs and BCS II's / Heat Sinks II's.
