Jumped into Suroken from Kusomonmon to find a huge cloud of Concord ships.
Local chatter says that a suicide squad of 21 BSs ganked a freighter and the pilot's pod.
A contract killing.
Can anyone confirm this?

Mordus Angels was contracted to hit & kill a Charon Class Freighter & the Pilots POD in secure space. At 20.26 0n Thursday the 08th of March 2007, Mordus Angels sucessfully completed the contract with both the Freighter & POD killed
Edit:- The contract completed in Suroken a 0.7 system in Citadel on the Kusomonmon gate

I passed the system earlier today... that must have been the most concord in one place I've ever-- ever seen.
Hell of lag and concord EVERYWHERE.
I'm most definately sure the gank happened....
Must have been a fun kill, been aching to kill a freighter for ages :P

Thats two, anyone else thinking that theres going to be a lot less freighters in hi sec? God help us if they ever start to drop cans.

Takes a lot to kill them (you should know  ), so I doubt much is going to change.
People won't gank them unless they have a good reason, the average joe won't get ganked in high-sec, ever.

actually the truth of the matter is, he was not empty. at the time of the kill , the lag from concord arriving and going berserk destroyed the kill and death mails. no items were listed on any mails of any destroyed ship. however, the point value of the charon, according to our killboard, was much higher than the last freighter we killed thus telling us it had a great deal of cargo.

it was a contract and in no way was personal or political. the killing of the freighter and the pod was the contract regardless if it cargo as that was not our objective
