Whenever I enter forums by directly clicking on the link, it always says pretty much 404 problem, with a touch of CCP humor thrown in. Keeps happening as well. I decided out of repitition boredom to open by right clicking on it to open open page in new tab and when I used that forum opened up for me and now happily posting.
Is anyone running into the same problem? |

No. No one is having this problem or having it for months.
No one feels the sharp nails of the You Were Ganked Page running across there brain every 5th or so click week after week thread after thread with no updates from CCP about what they plan do about as countless fix the forum threads are posted.
Best give up now and build a healthy delusion that everything is fine.

The forum 404 has been appearing intermittently since the patch implementation today. Presumably related since they also made some updates to the Wiki formatting as well.
Hopefully it will be sorted out soon but I haven't seen any official acknowledgement of the issue as yet.

A 404 is a page not fount but still able to communicate with the server. Which I thought was what was happening with the Ganked Page (CCP Humor).
I was unaware of a separate problem.

I too am experiencing this.
It was working fine earlier today, did some Windows updates (and had a NoScript update for FF), then it refused to work, currently accessing the forum via a bookmark.
Under FF the link simply refused to do anything earlier, now under FF and IE I just get a 404 page. |

Its the Link thats broken at eveonline.com
Forums work, its just that EVE Forums Link on the Left thats messed up...some apprentice must of messed that up

Yup, it has been like that all day for me. Clicking on the link to the forums from the eve-online.com home page yields https://forums.eveonline.com/404.htm
If you just get rid of the "404.htm" and hit enter, it works fine. So, the link from the home page is broken. I just assumed that the forums were down for most of the day, until I finally tried ^^ that.

indeed, its a 505 (service unavailable) not a 404 (can not find page)
