Well, sorry for not fulfilling your unspecified expectations, Miss Foley. Must have been hard to find time in your busy schedule of burning Delve to the ground to inform me personally of your decision to dismiss me from your employment. I would have stepped away if you asked me to, without having this bad blood between us, but instead you discarded me like an old rag.
Because discarding people that no longer serve your purpose has been a maximum in your corporation since day one, and I was na+»ve enough think it would be different for me. Guess that proves me wrong, doesn't it?

Actually, I believe the State has the best scientific machine.
Maybe you won't find there though good Fundamental science teams (because it is basically useless), but we have the best in the cluster specialists in Applied sciences and Engineering. We use the most moderns and efficient technologies and development of them is well paid.
Just compare for example our reactors: safe and efficient graviton reactors against technologically antiquated nuclear fission and fusion reactors used by lesser races.

Funny thing though, the first week after she recruited me, she gave me every possible corporation role and privilege that a Director could have. I told her that was a security risk and that she should be more careful with our roles, since I could have stole everything not nailed down to the station. Including the corporation.
As thanks for my honesty integrity, she slowly took all the privileges I had away and started giving them to other members. I started out as a Director, and ended up as a Janitor!
