Instead of having to "win" through repatition Ie, moving ore to can..
how about just giving ships the ability to "Auto" mine,
So what it would involve is me warping to a belt in any security status, and engaging auto mine. at that point, Minerals would just show up in my nearest hangar at a 60% refine rate max, this way I can tank a belt, and just have corp mates come and mine under me afk all day while they are at work, while I mind the belts.

CCP is working hard to defeat macrominers, and now you them to build that function in to the game

You'd still have to switch roids when one is depleted. I can kinda see where the idea is coming from. It wouldn't be full blown-macro since you'd have to switch asteroids and still be at your computer in order to be effective.

Next might be that isk will gather as skillpoints so that when we come back from holiday break we would be all ready to buy own carrier. -Out of body.. back in five minutes.

Log-on traps used to be an exploit, now it's a "feature"... many more examples tbh... _________________________________________________________

This is a great Idea. I also suggest we include AUTO-GRIND feature, where I can talk to agent and I get 60% of the mission reward and offers while I sit at station.
AUTO-FIGHT would also be great: Fit your ship and while at station hit AUTO-FIGHT button, if you lose your ship disappers and you will be in your POD at the same station.
You could also add AUTO-CONQUER button to map to snatch regions without silly time consuming allience clashes.

yeah i also want everything automated.
so when i come back from work, i just can start eve , press autoplay and then go watch tv or so. im bored of wasting so much time playing a computer game, why cant my computer do that himself? when i defrag my HD's i also dont have to sit at the computer, he is doing it all alone, why this is not possible with eve?
this would devo improve our sozial life :)
PS: CCP should also include option " Auto Chat " so my computer is not lonley while owning at eve. ohoh dont forget the "Auto Post on Forum" where my computer can brag about killing others.

Macrominer's have rights too. It's about time someone stood up for them. They work so hard and do they ever get so much as a thank you? Do they hell!
I am joking, of course.

I don't really see how. Bots are prevelant in all MMORPGs. And can anybody honestly say that bots have actually killed a MMORPG? They damage the economy slightly, but they've never completely ruined it. The Developers can kill the accounts of macrominers, but more will always pop up to replace them. So it's easier for the devs just to work around them than fight them directly. Having a witch hunt is a total waste of time and effort for a finite number of developers. So they wisely spent more time designing new content and fixing current issues (ie, bugs).
This doesn't condone bots however. But on another note, it's the players who are keeping the bots in business by buying the ISKies they sell.

I would love AUTO-PLAY. No stupid downloading of gameclients etc. Just enter your credit card details on the website, choose your favourite MMORPG and return when you are in the mood to see your ISK and the number of SP climbing.
Then you could sell the character and... no wait. That's a bit like IGE

face it ur playing one of the most mind numbing, repetive, boring games ever in existance. Someday, (hopefully that day is in june with potbs) I'll be moving out of this game myself. Until then it's the only thing semi worth playing. Kentucky where the goats roam and the rednecks run free |

just make mining barges have a seperate 'ore' hold that is as large as a jet can and can only fit ore.
Its kind of boring to drag ore into a can every now and then. I mean sure most the time im sitting in game chatting, but some times im alt-tabbed reading the forums, and its anoying to come back and find out ive lost valuable minutes.

Curse thou to the depths of Ignorance!
Seriously, Macrominers are part of the reason Eve has so many problems today. I would hate to have automining part of the game.
If it were to be incorporated at some time or another I would want warp gate scrams. --------------------------------

Everyone can rabble on as long as they like, Fact remains. We are all mindless drones doing the isk grind untill we have enough isk to have our isk make us isk.
So why not make it so we all dont get carpletundrel (Spelling lol) and save us our fingers and mice.

In that case I want an autoratting system. How about drones which scour the system they are in, killing all rats they encounter? -
If you go into your options menu, there's a difficulty slider. Put that all the way over to the easiest setting and you'll be fine. |

Why not state the example where in the past something that is suppose to take work and have you put in time and effort was reduced to an official automated system that essentially gave you free isk while you were away from your keyboard? That is the only relevance in a comparison example to this topic and you can't name any because there aren't any...

Heh, ever notice when people have nothing to say and no valid point they start waxing on philosophically which is really why that type of speak exists. Play the game or don't, they will not give you free isk...

PS- "Fact remains", where exactly was the fact? All I saw was opinion.
