POS Operation Business Plan
Mission Statement: Maximizing shareholder value by supplying the expanding T2 component market.
Operation: PZI will operate an array of large control towers capable of producing a full array of Tech 2 components for one race. Simple reactions will be obtained and processed into complex reactions, these will then be moved to a factory tower where they will be converted into components and transferred to market. Three individuals will operate these towers to ensure the operation continues to move smoothly. The estimated profit potential for this venture is 2,500,000,000 ISK/month with an expected increase in profit as invention increases the number of Tech 2 producers. Future plans include the array of towers to accomodate a second race and potentially third and fourth races.
IPO: In order to obtain the capital required to start an operation of this scale and ensure its smooth operation PZI will be issuing 100,000 shares at 100,000 ISK per share (10,000,000,000 ISK). Shares will be offered to the public directly through PZI with no broker charge during the IPO phase. Should the IPO fail to raise a minimum of 6,000,000,000 ISK within 2 weeks all stock purchases will be refunded. Following the IPO, PZI will be contacting brokers to conduct trades on the EGSE.
Dividends: 50% profit will be distributed among stockholders on a monthly basis. The remaining 50% will go back into a capital fund which will allow future expansion of the operation as well as pay the members who operate the array.
Profitability: Conservative estimates show profit levels of 2,500,000,000 ISK per month. With worst case profit still at 1,900,000,000 to 2,000,000,000 ISK per month and best case at 4,000,000,000 ISK before expansion. This results in a stockholder payout of 1,250,000,000 ISK. Assuming average profitability each of the 100,000 public shares will pay 12,500 ISK per dividend which is a profit of 12.5% per month. After only an 8 month investment period the issuing value of the stock would be repaid in dividends and true profit realized.
Investing: Contact (private message/PZIIPO channel) Andvari, Oliver Snow or Ozlore Electorov to purchase shares, if none are available send multiples of 100,000 ISK to Donna Commerce. ISK sent to any PZI character other than Donna Commerce will be treated as donations.
(100,000/100,000) shares remain.

Additionally can you tell me what security features you will have in place to insure my potential investment is safe from scamming or possible disaster scenarios?

I'd like to hear some more about this. It seems to me that the worst case scenario involves Dreads coming for a visit and NO profit for shareholders. Why do you think that 1,900,000,000/month is the minimum?

Definately. We're a small group of experienced players who's activities range from mining and missions to industrial production. We've run several smaller POS arrays in the past and understand the challanges of upscaling to the planned array.

A portion of the IPO value is to be kept in reserve as a contingency fund in case of attack or market instability. The possibility of hiring mercs combined with a smart system choice and good POS structure placement should minimize the danger of military destruction.
While the risk of scamming is always present in trust based ventures, we feel that there are several factors that should help alleviate your concerns:
- All 3 humans who will have access to project assets are meatspace friends. If one of us steals from the others, he can't biomass that.
- The value of other PZI activities are high enough that it would not make sense from even a mathamatical perspective to steal the IPO funds and damage our other activities.
- Most importantly, I value my reputation at much higher than this IPO value.

To get that value, we took the worst market price in the last year of every item we will be buying and selling, made them 20% worse, then did our math from there.
As for the threat of Dreads, we feel that the combination of system choice, POS layout, Mercs and our own combat capability should be able to defend us from any harassing attacks.
If, for some reason, someone dropped a large dread fleet on us, blockaded our system, and destroyed our towers, we would still have about 65% of the IPO value in station available for sale and return to investors.

After over an hour of drilling PTI members this is my conclusion. Does my conclusion mean anything at all.... NO.... Just because I have chosen to invest in PTI dose not mean you should.
Why - The reason I chose to get in contact with these guys is this is how I started off my IPO with much less of an actual business plan. Few towers, some componets, and woohoo profits. So I like to think I know a good deal about this side of the house.
Initial Thoughts - Worried. Why??? Not because of the scam factor, I honestly dont believe these guys are in it to scam. I feel these guys are in it to make a name for themselfs. I worried and still curious if they realize how much work this actually is. I ran 6 large pos's solo for a few months and it SUCKED. Differance with them and me though is they have 3 to do it, I only had 1. Which was my next worry, you not only have to trust 1 person for this to work you have to trust 3. They are all 3 RL friends from my understanding which lightens that worry some. Now in order for it to be a scam most likely all 3 would have to have low moral judgement, which I dont believe is the case.
Other Initial Thoughts / Questions - Why Only 1 Race of componets, which I do understand 100% why they feel they should go this way, but I also feel they should go with all 4. Its not my place to say which way is right though, and this shouldnt be a factor with investing into there IPO.
Do they know what they are doing? My answer to this would have to be 85% yes, 15% no. A lot of questions asked, and for most part the answers were right on except for a few minor details. Nothing that really worries me though.
Over all I think this is a great IPO for people to get into, these guys will probably be my future compition, and shouldnt recomend them, but I will anyway.
Again, this dosnt mean its scam free, I honestly dont know these guys from the noob alts in jita scamming all day long, just based on 1hr of talking dosnt mean they cant scam the entire 10mil isk. But tbh if they planned on only scamming 10bil, why not just use 1 character, would save them isk.

I personally planned, setup and did 80% of the operations management for PZI's previous POS endeavor, and I can say that I fully understand the level of commitment required. Oliver handled the other 20% so he is no stranger to this type of operation. Ozlore is the only relative "newbie" to POS operations, but I am more than confident of his ability to rise to the task. Granted this praise coming from a personal friend and corpmate will be taken with a little salt by most, however the point I am making is that I am familiar with POS planning, setup, and management; and I feel my compatriots are up to the challenge.

Not exactly, the orders came in over the course of the day. We didn't post immediately after every single order and some were placed while we were offline. Over the last 24 hours we did sell about 75% of our shares though.

i was waiting for someone else to ask; i figured that was just another name i had never heard of. levin is a toon that's been around a while, kevin is like a day old. that's pretty much all i noticed. but, i don't hang out with lots of people and keep up with all the ingame politics.
