Hello, i have some problems for doing mission's lvl 3 in my typhoon.
I need some advise for my fitting :
High :
3 malkthuh cruise
4 1200 arty gallium
1 tractor beam
Medium :
1 target painter
1 ab
1 sensor booster
1 cap injector
Low :
1 med repair II
6 hardeners selon les pirates.
Drone bay :
5 Ogre II
5 Hammerhead II
I have all skills for use T2 fit, but not in launchers and guns.
I need a better fit. THX.

Before someone comes and flames you for using a BS for lvl3's
highs
Drop the cruise launchers for heavies.
Drop the 1200's for 720's
Meds are okish. i would drop the cap booster for a web.
lows.
drop three hardeners, fit another med repper, and a bcu, and a gyro stablizer.
drones. meh, i would swap the heavies out for more med, and a bunch of lights.

If you're going to do that, you'd probably do more damage with the Hurricane, due to the bonus.
Current Hurricane missioning fit:
6x 650 IIs, 2x std missle launchers
AB II, 3x cap recharger IIs (I rarely find the need for a web)
2x MAR II, 3x rat-specific hardeners, gyro II

I figured if he wanted to use a BC, then he would have asked about cyclone or hurricane fits.
I'll be the first person to admit that when i first got a bs I used it on lvl3s so i could figure out what the capablities were. I was also running 3's in af's, bc's at the same time. I also learned that LG weapons were really bad for trying to hit frigs and such.
But I must concurr w. the two above posters. get a BC. They are wicked.

I confess that I never flew a typhoon for level 3, but maybe the short-range setup would work? (advantage; less work looting and salvaging.) This ship is so much overkill that it shouldn't cause a problem:
4x dual 650, 4x cruise (or heavy/HAML, but why waste the bonus?)
AB, target painter, webber, tracking computer
LAR, EANM II x2, 2 hardeners, BCU, gyrostab
Bay full of medium and light drones.
This ought to melt cruisers pretty quick and frigates shouldn't need the highslots at all if you want to save ammo.
Just my 0.02 isk.
