Dear EVE Voice testers,
In order to improve the EVE Voice client, we need your feedback. Please take a few moments and let us know how you feel about the EVE Voice system.
What do you like about it?
What donÆt you like about it?
What suggestions do you have for the client?
What features would you like to see added to EVE Voice?
Please post all feedback on the EVE-Online forums, in the post announcing the Blog: EVE Voice Stress Testing, Assistance and Feedback Wanted, located in the EVE Information Portal.
If youÆre having issues with EVE Voice, please submit/contains suspicious link/ a bugreport and include the Vivox diag report, Dxdiag report and logfile as instructed in the dev blog/contains suspicious link/.
Thank you, The CCP team.
This ingame email has serveral links, which I dont trust, leading to links outside the game that may want to put a keylogger on your computer. Delete this email!
Remember CCP would never ever eve mail you ingame, and surely not without GM infront of their name.
The guy that send me this mail was Nozh.

Interesting - The corp name is C C P who's head office is in Polaris The CEO is also Hellmar.
I would petition it anyway, if it is a genuine eve mail then CCP should announce they are doing it to prevent any further confusion.

When you drag your mouse over it, it doesn't show where it goes link it would in a web browser. And I am not planning to find out. I just know CCP would never send me an evemail like that.

Copy the link and paste here. Give Crumplecorn a looksee! -
If you go into your options menu, there's a difficulty slider. Put that all the way over to the easiest setting and you'll be fine. |

You might be able to right click the link and do a copy url, then paste it into notepad to see what its pointing to.
It looks like it is CCP given the CEO's name and the office location; you cannot get to Polaris - whether that has always been the case I don't know.

Way to go with the investigative skills there. Calling a DEV's email a scam.
Real classy.
Hopefully this serves to remind people to actually look up more info on the sender and think about it logically before they run screaming bloody murder to the forums.

Since when are Devs sending emails about tests on sisi? Normally feedback goes into the forum and dosnt get announced except on the forum.
A dev post would help to light things up.

The safest attitude to take in Eve is that everything is a scam. Can't say as I blame anyone for being paranoid around here.
I'd much rather look like a dumbass on the forums than get hacked.

Aye. The game is pretty much based on "player beware" and "anything you can get away with will be ok". So it's hard to fault someone for saying don't trust something unusual that happens.
The bottom line: The place is rife with scams and grifters.

I wish I could be a Dev so I could scam people.
This thread delivers.
