you jump into the next system. You land 20k frome a gate. Then to go to where you need to go, you warp, then land 20k from that gate. then fly 18k just to to warp. SIGH!!!!!!!!!! I love the new huge expansion the indy's got but at that cost in speed? Im getting an usler. so if i travel through Fd, takin a huge chance at getting through one gate, when i spawn in (autopilot left on)I will hit 2 gates thus increasing my odds of dying by 110%. :( Look how many ships lost in Fd-Mlj over the past 2 days. Think of the loot or goods. Pirates have cleaned house and I cant even mine bistot alone! 2 pirates is all that is needed there. 4 bs's guarding a simple spawn (15 npcs) while 2 mine um... that is a huge differnce in team play. I dont wanna b forced into team play with someone cashing my check everymonth. :(

I feel your pain.
Causality. Action and reaction. CCP has made a choice, and subscription numbers will decline as a result. I am sure that given enough reduction in player numbers they will see the error in their ways.

You are right about traveling speed nerf and about how they force us to group but look at the bright side : they gonna change mwd and ab back or they are gonna do some changes to the stats. or... maybe tech 2 mwd are UBER items (dreams). Get it ? |

Just as a little touch of fact to throw some numbers into the light, people might want to check some basic maths I did about the indy changes, down near the bottom of that page:
1352 - (Bug/Problems) Summary
The basic gist is that for someone with pretty average standard common equipment, a speed reduction of about 55-60% is apparent, for a capacity increase of about 37%.
Not sure about most people, but to me that maths swings waaaayyyy to far to the negative on speed for me. I don't care how much cargo you give out it still doesn't reduce the additional man hours of travelling. Plus, not everyone is hauling huge loads, some just haul regular load sizes.
Presonally, I would prefer to see some new industrials with twice the cargo capacity to allow for huge mineral transportation, but add them higher in the indy lines perhaps.

You know something I found with that and i am not sure if it happened just cause I got lucky or what but when I made a return jump trip from point b back to point a, on the way back I was warping close to the gate like withing 9 k and then when I got to the base I left from originally I was within 300m. My dock request was accepted immediatley. It seems like the game recognizes the gates you have been through in a certain path and that if you take the same path back as you did going that the space is smaller Kein Mehrheit F³r Die Mitleid |
