Hey all. I remember reading about this somewhere when I first started playing eve early last year. Someone advocated just claiming 15k LP offers because they claimed they gave the most ISK per LP.
What are your thoughts on this? I'm starting to run lvl 4s as a steady way to make money so your help is appreciated. One thing I can tell you is that running 2/3 missions to get over the 15k LP hump and then having to purposely not run missions for till i get an offer is annoying. I'm sure that's why people run multiple agents...
I'd rather just get the most money for my loyalty points. I don't need a faction ship, and if i do end up buying one i can just use all the ISK that the 500-600k LP just gave me until hoping for an offer for one.

Dunno where you heard that. Just grind away until you get a faction BS bpc, build it, and sell it.
What do you get at 15k LP? A +1 implant?

You can get connections skillbooks at 15 K that sell for 50 mil (easy, the cheapest military connections in Essence are over 60 mil), if you figure 1 bil profit and 500 K LP to get a faction BS then:
495 K LP = 33 skillbooks at 50 mil each = 1,650,000,000.
500 K LP = 1 CNR + building costs = 1,000,000,000 profit.
Of course, if every mission runner did this, the "special" connections market would crash pretty quickly, plus with the fact that agent offers don't come immediately, it'd be annoying to stop at 15 K LP when you could be burning on forward.
I'd say the skillbook route would be most effective for a casual level 3 mission runner who can rack up 15 K LP in about the time it takes to get an offer.

The 15k Connection book offers are very rare though. Its more often a +3 implant at 15k than it is a connection book.
