If you have lots of bookmarks and you have your people/places window open you lag like crazy jumping into a system. Some system are a lot worse than others. You will lag for so long that you will not be cloaked anymore when you do finally get control.
I want my folders back!!

Ditto. One of my accounts had over 100 BMs, with no folders (used to have them) and no ability to make folders anymore.
That's. Um, bad.

Probably they are using bubble sort to sort the bookmarks. (written in an interpreter language of course.)

I found a glitch that when I opened the people and places window it would hang Eve for about 5 to 10 seconds.

Edited by: Tenzian Kane on 19/12/2003 09:45:54 With a couple of hundred bookmarks and no folders it's getting very painful
The places window is actually throwing up an exception (which by default the client doesn't show you) and I know people who aren't having this problem.
If you are having the problem run the logserver and pop into EVE, open your P&P and try creating a new folder, then send CCP the lbw file, 'cos it's driving me and the more people reporting it, the faster it'll be fixed (or so the theory goes )

I have submitted bug report with logserver workspace file attached.
Please do the same, so they can fix this ASAP.

I think it has to do with the window trying to update the 'jumps' column. It has to try to recalculate that based on where you are.
Out near the rim of the galaxy I don't have the problem with lag. The closer I get to empire space the longer the lag time is.
