Come on now, it has to be the worse, heck the only thing that is wrong or Shouldnt have gotten nerf........... ship speed in general.............. Yes, flight time from point A to point B went from 1 hr to 2 or 3 hr flight. its a nightmare............... any hope that this will change..
and on a side note, space is zero-G, mass shouldnt come into play unless your around a body of gravity, am I correct on this?!?

Mass controls how quickly an object accelerates with a given force applied. (Acceleration = Force / Mass)
This applies regardless of gravity. A heavy ship will need bigger engines to accelerate at the same rate than a smaller ship even in space. Of course the EVE flight system isn't very realistic in some ways since there's no "top speed" as such in space and "turning" involves acceleration in one direction and slowing down in another... But at least basing acceleration on mass IS realistic.

Nah, not even close. Which accelerated faster to the moons surface: a feather or a hammer.....?
answer is both were the same, learn your Physics.
De-acceleration would not take place until a gravitation body or dense gas comes into play. But we see what happens when the cap runs dry.![Rolling Eyes](/images/icon_rolleyes.gif)

Everybody are so upset with the new ab/mwd's at the moment, but forget that they are out of date/old news. Tech 2 ab/mwd's are coming soon, with much better acceleration than the ones we have now.
clagnuts> im drunk just come back from pirates night in spain , wtf i thought it was some eve guys getting together for a drink , turned out to be a feken real pirates show , doh |

Objects being pull in by a gravity field is something entirely else. In space everything is about inertia, objects with more inertia need more thrust to acellerate (and to stop).
