Hello,
Lately i have been posting more and more on the Eve forums, and i have grown tired of that simple tagline under my posts. So, to enrich that space, i have decided that i want a Signature. Seeing as i am a programmer, and i cant do **** with graphics, i am starting my Signature competition. And that is where you, the Signature maker, comes in. ;)
Make me a Signature and earn 100 mil Isk!
This is what i am looking for;
A signature with a serious theme which connects to either me (the guy out of game), my character or both. I would also like my corp shortname(N.E.I.) to be on the signature in a small subtle place.(Maybe on a small flag with the corp logo on it if you decide to make a planetbased signature, be creative).
Idea's that i though off in the past (To give you an idea of what i'd like;
* A ship standing in a docking bay, with a group of marines standing attention infront of a officer barking orders.
* My face, Asael, and my Alt's face, Grezil, on both sides with a combat ship behind Asael and a civilian/industrial ship behind Grezil with a sort of split between the 2 parts, as if it where 2 different worlds.
Other sigs:
As for all the other sigs that are on the forum, i mostly like the type of sig that Nova Z makes. Also, i like Jaerl's sig where the signature has a few transparent bits so that it doesnt look like a standard boxed sig.
To give you a bit of background info, this is who myself and my character are;
My character: As a roleplayer, i try to play a bit like a typical Caldari Civiri. That means that i am a Patriot which prefers action over diplomacy. Comming from the academy, i have since held jobs in commanding positions ranging from drill intructor to operations manager. My Character also isnt to shy to take his crew out in his hulk and mine the roids, but he prefers to command his marines around during a nighttime raid on a enemy instalation.
Myself: I am an avid gamer(So avid that i went into programming games), and a lover of Scifi and War themed movies. As for my taste in music and culture, i would be better off to be born in the 1920's then the 1980's.
Ending date: 2 weeks from posting date and time, which is Sunday the 25th of march around 10 GMT.
The signature must be fitting for the Eve fora.

I'll admit to never having done one of these sig competitions before (and I mean ever, anywhere - and given that I've been using photoshop for well over a decade, that's saying something), but there's one thing about this one that sparked an idea that I'd like to create.
So... kinda-in. =]

You know, maybe having such detailed requirements made it a bit hard for everyone and thus scaring people off with it. Aw well, i hope that i will see something from you tomorrow Cailais.
In other news, if i only see one entry tomorrow morning when i wakeup, i might extend the competition with a few days to let the others turn something in. I recieved repleys on my remindermail from a few so i know that there are others still having something in the works.
Cute Tobias, but not really what i am looking for  . By the way, what is that thing on the left side of it?

I dont think I'll have time to complete what I'm working on under the wire, so now it's just a project to do and not really part of the competition anymore. I could get it done in time using processed roto'd bits of screenshots but that'd just defeat the artistry of it. I'd rather it all be painted.

I know what it is like to be busy. I kinda forget the deadline this morning because i was busy with my Game Engine programming . Anyway, looks pretty good Trovarion. I am going to extend the contest by say..2 weeks.
Hopefully more entry's will show up.

Check out the other sig thread, the 50mil one, my winnah sig is on display there.
I might take on this aswell, seeing as it has a 1000% timelimit in respect of the time needed
