Priano-haani,
I never said the doctrinal decisions were incorrect for the time. If for some reason the Drifters doomsday weapon again starts to hit with perfect accuracy, then the Heavy Weasel Doctrine will have to be retired quickly. You are correct that it was Lord Consort Newelle that identified the seed to the new doctrine. Once the seed was planted that we could control the Drifter's movements rather than just react to it, plus an Osprey test, the Wild Weasel doctrine was born, which evolved. This doctrine is still evolving.
When I said that I had identified five vulnerabilities to the doctrine, I was not picking a number out of a hat. I also included the command changes. I am aware of those rumors and have thought of how to incorporate them into the doctrine. At this point, until rumors are facts, there's no point in worrying.
Some of the vulnerabilities I have identified will require adaptation on our part. Some will require us to scrap and try something else. We'll see.
For my own part, as a fleet commander, two things come to mind.
Firstly, don't worry about the cost of the Basilisks. If we lost one, I'll replace it out of my pocket. I am more than willing to put my money where my mouth is. I believe in this and will continue to do so. You'll notice that I have never, ever filed for SRP for ARC Hive Ops and never will. I'm not here for filthy mammon, but to kill Drifters. I know; I look Caldari, but I am not.
Secondly, I will not ever accept the idea that we need to deliberately sacrifice ships and lives just to keep the enemy happy. Not just No, but **** NO. That idea is so anathema to me, I have no actual response beyond that.
The Drifters might want their pound of flesh, but I don't care what the enemy wants except to know what to deny them.

Once things stabilize in Delve, Ali, hit me up about these, and Guardians, if you decide to adapt to an armor-based doctrine where the J-space conditions make that advantageous. As soon as the normal revenue streams are flowing, I should be able to help out with financing properly-fitted ships. Two drifters scoring simultaneous hits like the one we saw this past week will overwhelm the C-Types. It might be worth looking into A-Types for those, even with the enhanced risk that they bring. The spirits know I've used enough of them on my Scimitars.

That was already attempted a year ago with mixed levels of success. The Drifters adapted to it fairly quickly and it ceased having any success at all afterward.
You can find our reports on it from back then here on the IGS.
You are of course welcome to go try it yourself anyway, but it's likely to be nothing short of a waste of money, time and lives on your part.

Many thanks to ARC's coordinators and fleet commanders. Thank you! Though, personally I found it boring. It's like all the Drifters are hiding from me now. The Seekers report that it's Alizabeth and Morwen and all the Drifters say "Oh $#!&" and scatter.

Most people are flying with us simply because they feel it's the right thing to do. Or because it's something new and interesting for them, and we are quite literally the only organization running such operations. But very few involved are solely interested in profits, and even those who ask seem to not mind the lack of significant compensation for the time and effort involved.

If I recall in one of my old correspondence with Ms. Priano regarding smashing and grabbing Drifter hives, my position within the Gallente Militia was an impediment in getting a spot in the ops, due to the Amarr and Caldari militia members being in the op fleet and, admittedly, I assume she would also be operating in Amarr or Caldari high sec, where I will be shot on sight.
Maybe I ask again.

You don't need to ask Makoto. I will personally tell you, as a Coordinator, that it is only as much of an impediment as you allow it to be.
While the fleet will not actively defend you from wartargets due to Crimewatch restrictions, nobody in the fleet will engage you without your explicitly-given permission. If they do, then they put their future attendance on ops at risk. We've had pilots from both the 24th and the TLF at the same time, as well as the Protectorate. The only time we've permitted the fleet to fire on other members is when they have explicitly been asked to by the pilot being fired at - usually because they do not feel like trekking home in a capsule and would rather take the so-called "pod express."
Basically, you're on your own getting from staging to the entry location (which we provide in fleet, and in some cases can move a ship for you) and then from there into the wormhole. Aside from that, you're part of the fleet and get all of the associated benefits.
As noted, there is a channel you can join via the Neocom, and a mailing list by the same name. We announce operations there.

It's in a wormhole. Pucker factor is quite high, since everybody is a legal target of everybody else but in both the Ops I've attended manners has kept things civil. Basically, we're all guests, FC is the host and for me, personally, firing on something the FC doesn't tell me to fire on feels just... weird.
Still you're the one with the poor taste to be in the FDU....
All joking aside, your biggest issue is likely to be the local uniforms, who won't take kindly to you loitering in the system where the entrance is, waiting for the order to enter.

Mr. Tuulinen, you have messed up the quotation system.
Yes, my biggest issue is with the local patrols. However, I was advised that a system to get to undock and bugger off quickly before the patrols could respond was already in place. This hopefully will solve my quibble with the local authorities.

From the looks on the methodology, it seems that means no undocking, align on command with the pace of a drunkard trying to walk the straight line then enter warp. Situations like that will get my ship pointed and shot at by the local authorities before I can do anything useful.
This hopefully will solve my quibble with the local authorities.
