reality is what you hear, smell, see, think, do, move, more and the opposite.
you are reality, and so is everybody else.
what you do in reality changes the definition reality.
at the moment my reality is telling you about what the essence of reality is. later on my relaity will be making a cheese toasty.
reality is what you define it to be at the moment you are currently at in life.
that is why we as an individual can create new realitys by doing something different from the reality of what we are currently doing or have done.
Real life and such is also very similar to this reality question.
what defines real life. is it outside your ingame life of the computer or uis your computer your real life and all the personalitys of your computer world.
i call my "real life" meatspace and my "online life" Cyberspace. (yes i like cyberpunk stuff) it gives mea the overal feel that my ife is mine and i can do whatever i feel wth it be it in the computer or out of the computer.
the same is with reality, my reality is whatever i want it to be at the time of my choosing. your reality is different from my reality.
for all i know. you could all be a figment of my imagination and im just sitting here in a strait jaket rocking back and forth in the medievel times. and in the same way. i could just be a collective figment of all of your imagination and thuse im messing with all of your minds.
however one thing is to be shure off. live your life how you want to live it.

Interesting discussions all. As asked for here is my approach.
I would define reality as the sum of moving parts, which we are all a part of, then filtered by our mortal forms; controlled by a force beyond the realm of the miniscule parts(our reality), that one or many beings plug into to experience this realm of existance. Sort of the solipsistic approach.

We are limited by our language. In my opinion, to truly define reality requires an 'unreal' language to be able to describe it from an external point of view.

Reality is that which we make a model of in our conciousness [accurate or otherwise], in our own style and usually forget it's actually just a model :)

The solipsist approach cannot have multiples or many. It is a sceptic philosophy in which ones own mind and ones own mind alone can be assumed to exist, as it is the only thing you can consider yourself to have any direct empyrical experience of.
Nothing else can be considered real.
Hence the phrase: "I think, therefore I am."
