But being the loving souls that we are we wish to provide you with a list of some of the danger signs of a truly grave disease. Yes, IÆm talking about OPD û Obsessive Pirating Disorder. WeÆd like to stamp out this disorder so that many here can go on with their lives. DonÆt worry about the state of Low Sec Space. We at Bastages, being the heros that we are, will take up the slack in the Pirating Duties. I know I know. We are wonderful So this week I point out one of the most dangerous areas of OPD . . . . Piracy and Divorce. A connection? -You find yourself pressing the Voice Comms transmit key while talking to your wife in person. Yes you are sitting at your computer. Heck, the chair by now has molded itself to your ponderous flabby tuckus. (She prays itÆs just a phase.) -Your wife tells you to make a left hand turn while driving and you respond ôRogerö (At this point sheÆs considering moving back in with her mother) -You drive past a semi ôlorry for you Britsö and immediately tell her exactly what itÆs cubic meter cargo capacity is. (She thinks that she actually might like a month or two with Mom) -You say ôYarr, this be a plundering!!ö a lot ôin bed.ö (SheÆs wondering how much a good lawyer would cost. And dammit she is not going to wear the ôwench outfitö to bed ever again!) -You havenÆt shaved because the beard makes you look more vicious. (SheÆs wondering how much any lawyer would cost.) -You get a tattoo of your Corp logo on your chest. (SheÆs wondering which of her friends would help her bury the body) -You quit your job because you are convinced that you can somehow make a living in piracy on Eve. (SheÆs now convinced that she has a justifiable homicide defense). Please help us stamp out OPD. And Ginger . . . please . . . get help before this happens to you. Putting the low back into low sec.
