Well hello there, I've had this account for a long time and it was active for short burst in the past.
So I somehow managed to reach about 43m SP (mostly Drones, Guns and Gallente ships)
I've always been tempted by EVE but due to not taking the time to chose the right corp for me I never could get into a group where I truly enjoyed the game. (Joining a small corp that crashed due to internal rifts the same day I joined :P and ending up with no one ever online at the same time to talk and do stuff with....or Joining a group that seemed too well organised for the noob that I was and didn't have time to answer any questions)
So this time around I'm taking my time and trying to find a group where'll fit and I'll be able to enjoy EVE.
Unless that's not possible I'd love to do a little of everything, some PVP and expeditions, some crafting and mining maybe as well etc. I'm looking for a corp that has a decent level of activity and that would be willing to teach someone who is basically a noob despite having had a character for a long time :P. (It's been so long since I actually did anything that I don't really remember anything!).
Just in case that helps, I'm on East Coast and usually play between 7pm-1am (varies a bit depending on days of the week, but thats about it)...and I can play pretty intensively for some periods, but overall I wouldn't say I'm a hardcore player because there will be weeks where due to RL and Work that I'll have more casual gaming time.

Howdy mate!
Welcome back to the community that is eve! It's definitely the people and the connections made through this game that keep me here so for that reason I'm sorry to hear you had the experience of joining a corp that fell apart. The reason I joined Stronghelm is because I had to have a family in game that created a purpose to logging online to game. I had that back in 2006 for a few years with Luecius & Dark Skullz Empire and as a result I still talk with dutchmen I met through the corp!
Being family means we help you with your questions as family is understanding everyone has their area of expertise as such no single person is all knowing. As a collective group however that's another story. We're accepting that real life calls so when you're on we love the comradery while being understanding & miss our comrades while offline. There are days I simply don't logon due to time spent at the gym or visiting relatives though the baseline is that if we individually aren't enjoying real life then we can't get into Eve. We're an in game family afterall so we're understanding. That being said when you're online we love your participation in group activities that you desire be it mining or pvp to cooking the next batch of metaphorical sweet potatoe fries in the oven! I mean space ships

We are a bunch of null-sec jack of all trades, masters of none, kind of players. We do BLOPS, small gang, big fleet, cap, mining, building, high sec, wh space, D all of the above kind of corp. The leadership has an average of 8 years in game experience in all aspects. Most of the members have been in the game an average of 3 years. We are a very social, teamspeak based corp that prides itself in that if you are in Modro, you are treated like family. We get RL.
