What are the best drones in the new regions? has anyone compiled a list of which drop the best stuff in terms or is it totally random.
Also do you get fraction spawns like Dread or Dark blood etc etc?

I haven't seen a breakdown of the new rogue drones (nor the red ones  ). Any drone with "Strain" in the name is kind of a Tech2 version, and drops better alloys then the regular drone with the same name.
Not having bounties makes it a bit confusing. I never realized how much I used the bounty amounts to judge the toughness of an npc.

for ranking of the rouge drones check the npc database at www.eveinfo.com the higher resists they have the better the chance of good drops, though its pretty much randomly. glossy and opulent compounds are mostly affected by the strength of the drones, plush lustering motley are more random based, you can get about 40-50 plush even from the weakest rouge drones.
And no there are no faction, officer or hauler spawns which sucks!!!!

Rank 1: Drone Controller (worst)
Rank 2: Swarm Preserver Drone
Rank 3: Spearhead Drone
Rank 4: Domination Drone
Rank 5: Supreme Drone Parasite
Rank 6: Drone Ruler
Rank 7: Drone Creator
Rank 8: Patriarch Drone
Rank 9: Matriarch Drone
Rank 10: Drone Queen (best)
No FACTION (note : no "r") spawns/dreads/carriers/haulers unfortunately...

Thank god. They need to drop alot less alloys and compounds.

There are some random factors as well. I have seen the same type of drone drop 40-50 plush one time and the next time only 20.
