Things are slowly coming back, EVE-Search is running on RAMdisks and since the server could not shut down the way it should the RAMdisks are of course empty when starting up again - so I am in the process of rebuilding the indexes and tables needed from the last backup, and at the same time doing some maintenance while things are down.
So once things are back up again I will repoint the DNS and you should slowly be able to use everything OK again.

I can't view the Eve-O forums at work, but I can view them through Eve-Search, so my sanity is in your hands!! I could get on with some work.... nah.

Maybe this product might be of help in the future: I-Ram
Should offer the speed of a ramdisk with a little bit of battery backup :)

Problem with that one is that it only supports up to 4GB while my database is 6GB+
But with the new servers (which I am raising funds for with your help) I will be able to work with db's up to 12GB
