Edited by: Okapir on 13/03/2007 19:44:59 I have been running missions with a Myr passive shield tank, fairly good fun, then I took this lvl 3 mission on and am in a whole world of hurt! The problem I have is the whole room is aggroed straight away, I have destroyers from 110Km away firing and hitting me. What is causing the aggro, how can I finish this, at the moment I am warping out after taking out one ship and spending my time docking fitting hull and armour reppers and watching television while the ship heals itself, any advice appreciated

With this mission, you will always agro the whole room. The trick is figure out which ship triggers the next spawn and to kill it last. Normally the trigger ship is the highest bounty and/or is unquie. Sadly on lvl 3&4 versions of this mission the trigger is not always an unquie ship
As for small class ships hitting from 100km out, never had that happen to me before.

Most of the time, the trigger ship is a unique ship of the most powerful type. For example, in the Angel version of level 4 Blockade, there is often many Saints, and a lone Nephilim, which is the trigger. In some cases, however, there are several ships of the trigger type, in such cases you need to look at *where* the ships are. The trigger ship will either spawn alone, or will spawn alongside smaller ships, whereas the other potential trigger ships will spawn alongside other large ships. -- Becq Starforged proprietor of Starforge Industries, a subsidiary of Minmatar Ship Construction Services

Nope, in a really old dev blog the Devs stated that level 4 missions (and those below) are designed for a single player ... that's why the standing gains are not divided between the gang members when you do a mission with a group.
As stated in another dev blog, the level 5, 6 and 7 missions will be designed with "group play" in mind, but those are not ingame yet (and maybe not soon).
Soloing is high risk, yes, and that's how it's intended to be, but not impossible ...

I remember some weird thing. in 4th spawn was 5 BS's and they are same. was impossible to find who's unique or high commander. I killed first BS and new wave arrived

A side point: small ships hitting at insane ranges isn't a new thing. I had frigates hitting with standard missiles at 110 km (tukkers, with Minmatar frigates, so no missile speed bonus).
