Is there a way to limit the effect of a webber on your ship? An anti-webbing module? Do warp-stabs also help you against webbers?
Or pure speed (to get away from their webbing range fast) is the only way? |

No, there are no direct counters to webbers like there are for warp scramblers (warp core stabs). You can only stay out of their range and hope your target does not have a webber that works beyond 10,000 meters. --- High quality pics of ALL EVE ships!

As said, there is no direct counter to it (as exists for scramblers).
ECM, ECM Bursts, Sensor Dampeners etc can provide some modicum of protection though.

if you are talking about pvp your best helper against webbers are nosferatus as they drain cap from your target and into your own ship.
if you are talking about pve, there is no real effective way to avoid webbers, execpt to pack som light drones and pop them fast =)
Posting and you!

Yeah, I'm talking about PVP. The PVE side I got it figured out. In PVE I always know who's the webing frigate due to intense repetition of the same mission over and over. But in PVP is another story. In a group of 3 attackers, is hard to identify who's the webber. And most of my tactics depend on speed. If I can't get in range fast, I'm dead.
I've looked into the ECM but that's kind of a no no in high sec (not to mention the recent ECM nerf). The NOS idea looks doable (If it doesn't get nerf too).
I will keep an eye on my speed and as soon as it drops, check the range of the enemies. That might give me an idea of who the webber is.
The other idea was smart bombs, but again, no no in high sec. |
