I'm not sure if this came it with Castor, as it's been awhile since I've tried to remove anyone from my corp.
I am CEO of a corp. I have one member that quit the game (Subject A), and I wish to boot him, to make room for new members. I get the error message "Dude is not online." The player does not come online, anymore, so I cannot boot him?
I have one member that joined up, and needed to be removed (Subject B). This player does pop online, every once in awhile. Trying to boot him produces the error message "You cannot boot him, because he is in space." So now, you can't fire an employee that is sitting outside your base, attacking your less-defensive members?
Worse yet, another member of my corp told me that when I was getting the second message, Subject B was actually online, and docked in our home base. I wasn't able to boot him, until I was docked in the same base.
Is this intentional? If so, can you reconsider the implications?

The first problem we ran into with people who quit the game while still in the corp, they are pretty much ghosts. We couldn't kick them from he corp since their account was canceled, yet the 6 month timer wasnt up for the char to be deleted.
As for the second guy you mentioned....I sure hope that gets fixed ASAP.

Yes im having the same problem with the "you cant fire dude because he is in space" message and im pretty sure it came from castor, since I booted someone a week or two before castor without incident.

Same issues as well. Rather annoying and some of the people in my corp who quit long ago do not even show the option to expel.
CEO's need better people management tools in the game for applications as well as removal.
I hate that Expel Member is in the right click for their name...

Try this...
Have the Ceo call up a vote to expel member from the corp. After the vote is complete (think its 24 hours minimum) you should be able to expel that person with no problems. I had the problem you guys are talking about while trying to get rid of inactive players from my Corp a while back and couldn't do it till I did the vote. Its worth a try
