I wanted to get some BPC's and raise my standings to max, and Amarr Cosmos was a great way to start. However it didn't pay off that much in ISK. That was an entirely different situation with Caldari Cosmos though. I ended up with 2 plugins worth over 1.2 bill each on top of all the blueprints and bounties. The missions were also more exciting as some of the missions involved passing a low-sec zone to Otomainen (an high-sec island), so it's a great way to learn a bit about how to avoid PVP or even fight back if you want. I was so lovesick when those missions were finished, as they created some of my best PVE moments in EVE. Anyway here is a nice guide I used when I did it:

Gratz on completing the Amarr and Caldari Cosmos.
I've completed all 4 Empire Cosmos (Amarr, Caldari, Gallente, Minmatar) and in my opinion the Amarr Cosmos is the toughest one to complete.
I actually used a few different guides including the one you linked. I'd check them all out first and research the Agents mission series and try to collect all the required items before even speaking to the Agent, making it easier to collect the mission reward and bonus time reward. Course there's a few items that only become available after the mission is accepted but doing the research and collecting up everything else beforehand definitely made it much easier.
Anyway, thanks for posting, it's good to know players are still engaging in that content.

I never knew such a thing existed and really interested in giving it a try (going to start with Minmatar). From what I can gather reading about COSMOS I would need at the very least a frigate, cruiser and battleship? If that is the case I was thinking of getting a Dramiel, Cynabal and a Machariel maybe? Alternatively I can fly all T1 Minmatar ships. |

Before you get started make sure your tank holds up as most of the frigs warp scram you in most if not all factions cosmos sites.

There's a bug associated with Cosmos Agents , meaning if you talk to a Cosmos Agent and decline the mission offer, they will count that as a fail and will not re-offer their mission series.
So the main thing to remember - Do not fail, quit or decline Cosmos mission offers, it could lock out access to other Cosmos Agents.
I worked the Cosmos Agents in steps, such as level 1 Minmatar, Caldari, Gallente, then did level 2 agents, etc. Also used Data Center Agents to keep standings high enough for access. The Amarr Cosmos is tricky which I did in 2 parts, the first part has agents of various levels directing you to other agents of various levels. Basically a mix of level 1 to level 3 agents all chained to each other. The 2nd part which I did later was all of the level 4 agents.

These are the various guides I used for reference when I ran Cosmos.

I used a variety of ships, all Minmatar, to complete the missions. T1 Frigate, T2 Cov Ops, T1 Cruiser, T2 Battlecruiser, T3 Cruiser, T1 Industrial Transport, T2 Blockade Runner, etc.
I also had some fleet mates help on a few missions. On missions that required combat against one of the 4 main Empire Factions, I just bought the required item from contracts / market.
Hope this helps, good luck to you.

I completed the Cosmos missions years ago. I recall they would be "camped." People would hold a key item hostage and try to ransom. This is only true for unique items spawned when you get the mission.
Also....is the mission from Christer Fuglesang still available? He can be found at Autaris VIII - Moon 5 - Concord Bureau |

I still have my "Christer Fuglesang Medal"
I thought it might have some value however, looking in contracts and the market I can't seem to find any.

A trinket from another time... Yeah, I still have mine as well.
CCP should make the various medals and pins gained from different NPC's able to be listed in our characters info box, just like how player corp members have medals listed in their characters info box.

I ran Caldari cosmos mission about a year ago and they were a PITA, one mission required me to pick up a shuttle in space so I had to fit my Tengu with cargohold expanders, and the last mission from agent in Otomainen (who could only be accessed by killing all the respawning rats in the previous room) required me to get an item called "Myrkai's Data Chip" that I couldn't get it to drop in space so I had to buy in on contracts for few hundred million ISK (reward was HG-1008 implant so it was worth it).
Amarr cosmos was better, especially the last mission where the boss dropped Bhaalgorn blueprint. |

This guide is great but could have been complete if you had noted what ships you used.
A lot of players, especially new, would not know what ships are required but Kudos for taking the time to write it. |

If you check all the guides I linked in this post you'll have a good idea of what to expect and what type of ships are needed to complete the missions.
As I stated earlier, most of the info is still accurate in those links. Just remember that Cosmos missions are a level tougher than regular missions, meaning a level 1 Cosmos mission is equal to a level 2 regular mission.

And gratz on getting a Bhaalgorn BPC from the Amarr Cosmos.

I've done one of the COSMOS (I think Caldari) on one of my toons, I remember it being a pain but also an interesting distraction.
I know they can only be run once per character so I wondered is it possible to run the COSMOS missions as a lesser skilled character but fleet up with/or use my main character (that has already done that cosmos mission) to actually complete the mission and then the lesser skilled character collect the reward (does that make sense?)

In that regard it's just like regular missions: your lesser skilled character accepts the mission, fleets up with main, main clears the room(s). Note: if you want to limit standings/monetary reward gain to the lesser skilled character, main has to leave fleet before mission hand-in. |

I got to check these COSMOS sites out...
Personally, the best memory I have of PVE content in EVE, was when I completed the amarr level 4 epic arc called A Right To Rule. It was a lot of fun, though tough as ****, as I tried doing it in an Apocalypse with meta 4 equipment. |

Hey, thanks to OP getting my attention on the long-forgotten COSMOS missions, I've been able to do a few of them after reactivating my account less than a week ago and make 1,5 billions in one night! Great! I also learned a couple of things... first off, how to properly travel fit a Tengu and how not to let your guard down when traveling towards Jita with more money in your cargo than in your wallet, not to mention the ship proper (this I luckily read before making mistakes); second, I re-learned how to count volleys and that there is no such thing as too much missiles.
Now on to Amarr COSMOS since the other billion-implant agent needs a standing of 7.0 and I'm currently sitting at 5.3 derived. All in all COSMOS is a great chain of mission, especially since important missions are not as camped anymore. They can teach many things to the new and the returning player alike, just be prepared to lose a few ships.
On a final note, it's funny how old guides mentioned problems which are rendered trivial by things that did not exist at the time, such as the mobile depot (for refit in Otomainen) and T3's. Tengu's for PVE are easy mode, really...
Need more well-formatted linking.
