Everything in patch so far is good except for screwing up the agents. I spend most of what little time I have to play doing agent missions. I got to a lvl 3 and did 28 missions. My goal was to get an implant and sell it so I could get a cruiser. Now, my lvl 3 agent that had +18% standing is now an R&D agent and I dont have any skills to use him and the 20 million isk I would need to buy JUST ONE of those skills is not going to happen anytime soon. So CCP's theory on making a trade off of good standing is worthless to me because by the time I would have enough isk to get a skill to research something I will have no standing with that agent because of the %5 degrade weekly. Now I have to go back to doing missions for my lvl 2 agent so when I finally get enough standing to use the lvl 3 agent who has -1% standing (approximately 33 more missions for my lvl 2 agent) I can start over again doing missions for them and hope I get an implant. This is rediculous. A game that has been public for what,? 6 months now? should not setting players back this far. Good job on interface changes and some skills I guess but you mucked up the agents for alot of people. I'm going shopping for a new game after Christmas if CCP does nothing, as Im pretty sure CCP devs will do squat considering I already sent 3 requests and received nothing.
But I will give the benefit of the doubt and hope for the best. But then again I'm just another $12 dollars a month.
Also, if this post shows up twice, my bad, I tried once and didn't see it show up.

I don't understand what you mean by "tradeoff of good standing." Would you care to explain exactly what CCP offered to do to your character as compensation for not any longer having a level 3 agent for whom you can do missions?

before you totaly freak out try this,
look up the corp info for your agents corp, go to the agent tab, look through the various drop down folders in there, look for agents you can use.
you might be suprsied, the new agent system does not reqire referals, just find an agent you can use go to said station and talk to them and ta da you have a brand spanking new agent. You didnt say you had lost any standing with your agents corp so you should be around 3.0-4.0 or so and probably eligable for various other agents. If you have any questions your more then welcome to contact me in game ill glady walk you through it and help you check for other agents you can use.

Also, bear in mind that 5% decay a week means it takes over three months for your standing with the research guy to drop by half.
