We are best described as a battle-hardened industrial corporation - specialists in capital ship production but not afraid to get our hands dirty! Our money and power comes from our mining ops, establised POSes and production line, but a lot of our action comes from our active combat fleet. Our members are evenly split between Europe and the USA, so there's always someone online and active in our Corp's channel. We are based at the junction of low-sec and 0.0 space in the regions of Domain and Providence, which means we can offer a wide range of operations - specifically, we run weekly events for miners and PvPers in both the US and European timezones. Any mining in 0.0 space is protected by our combat fleet and managed, with haulers and efficient refining provided. What are we looking for? We want players who are: - Active, although we understand that RL > EVE! - Keen to contribute to the team - Eager to learn more about EVE - Happy to get involved in various roles in corp operations You don't have to be a PvPer... we have loads of carebears who rake in the ISK! Likewise, you don't need to be a miner... the only holes I dig are ones in my enemies' hulls! The only thing we don't do is Piracy. Anti-piracy is fine, though. What's in it for you? First and foremost, you get a supportive, active, entertaining, mature, funny and experienced group of people to share your time in EVE with. Apart from that: - Tons of PvP opportunities - Protected mining and production - Actively rewarded contributions to the corp in whatever way you can - All your basic equipment is free. We have stacks of it just lying around! - Low tax rate - Great member discounts on all ships we can build (which is pretty much anything smaller than a dreadnought!) *"Sounds good, but can I actually make a difference?"* YES! Although we are established and successful, we're not some enormous mega-corp where you're a tiny fish in a huge pond. From day one you will be able to get involved with our operations. I have been a member of Paxton for close to a year now, and I still enjoy the company very much. What Xi is saying about us is actually true, except that about us CareBears raking in the ISK's, seems my rake is a lot smaller than the one he is holding But then again I have fun and am enjoying the game. If I want/need ISK's for somthing I'll just join a ratting party or run a couple of missions with some corp mates. Then its back to the relaxing way of strip mining belts. Nothing more satisfyin than having members warping to you to help out with mining and going "Hey, where have all the roids gone?". And move on to the next belt. Swing by the Paxton chat and say hi. I also have some skills in combat, but not much experience. Overall your corp seems to fit nicely with what I'm looking for. The only thing that is unclear is the "active" part. I am "active" 1-2 days a week mostly, depending on my RL and job. Sometimes more, sometimes less. There's no hard and fast activity level, I just think it's important to understand that the point of a corporation is that we're a team of people who are all trying to help each other succeed and prosper. If you're never online it's hard to do that. I think almost all of our members have jobs and partners - both of which take up large parts of our limited time. (unless you are our CEO 'El Torrent' whose girlfriend actually plays EVE!) As I say in the post... RL > EVE. It just is, and we appreciate that. I think as long as you would consider configuring some of your playing time to match our main mining operations then there's no problem at all with how much you play. The main reason for saying we want active players is as a benefit for YOU, the recruit. I'm not playing eve right now, but I am 100% sure that if I logged on there would be a bunch of my corp in our channel, yabbering away about whatever! That's a real benefit to me. Well, we have almost doubled in size, which is why we stopped recruiting for a while - to give our new members time to get to know us, and settle in. We have also formed an alliance called Paxton Federation - which so far has one other corp (a long standing ally) as a member. We now have all our standings set up, so our PvP arm have plenty of red targets! We've been war declared by Privateers this week, as part of their "operation love muscle" thingy... great news as it gives us even more targets to hunt. It won't last more than a week of course, due to the wardec nerf... but its fun while it lasts. SO: We are recruiting again! I am not going to pretend that you won't be encouraged to join in with Group mining/pvp/complex events - to be honest if you don't do at least some team play thing then theres not all that much point in playing a multiplayer game - but nothing is mandatory. Could you please shoot me an EvE-mail when you have a chance. Bit about myself: Canadian resident that plays mainly on PST. My main (Karn Defil) has 9 million'ish sp devoted mostly to mission running with a Raven. I can fly a pretty decent Scorpion though :P Not much pvp experience atm but i'm looking forward to learning more about that side of EvE. I also have an alt (Erowydd) I started who I devoted entirely to mining. Currently has about 4.5 million sp working on learning to fly a hulk. I two box them when I have a craving to do some mining in a 0.4 system. Looking forward to hearing from you ingame. Take care.

Right now I am wanting to come back to EvE due to the fact that other MMOS lack the feeling of being a part of something big. Right now I have 1.2mil SP, which I know is not much, but I got my basics covered for mining. My basic learning skills are all at 4, my Learning is at 5. My Mining is at 5, currently upping my astrogeology to 4. I am able to pilot Caldari Frigates (4), Caldari Industrial ships (2, soon 3), Caldari Cruisers (2). Right now I am using Osprey to mine and a Badger to haul. I am 22 years old, married and my wife and I will be having a baby in 8 months. I am looking for a mature and dedicated Industrial corporation. I am willing to attend corp mining ops and participate in the community events.
