No I bought it for 1.7 billion. I had offered him 1.6 in game to end it, and he said yes but at that point a bid was made for 1.6. I said I would pay 1.7 and he agreed.

the rule states that every auction is to be made in the forum if you sell your char to another player he must come on forum and notify others, ingame is not fair since the buyer cannot see it.So the prize goes to Demented Fury...Be fair or get squared...

well if you priced your b/o offer at 1.7 i would've bought it out too :P
too bad, thankfully there are others.
if the buyer isn't your alt, you just let him screw you out of a possible 100m (since we're bidding up 200m at a time)
if the buyer is your alt, then shame on you

I guess you don't get it. I had already offered 1.6 bil in game before you made the bid and he accepted. Since you made the bid I added 100 mil to be fair. Isk has already been transfered.
And Energized, mind your own business. I offered more than the highest bidder, who decided he did not want to bid until the last 5 minutes. If he was really wanted it, he should have outbid me with more time remaining and he might have had a chance to beat my buyout offer. Or he could have tried to convo the guy selling it. And notice I did go on the forums and notify I made an in game buyout, and this was before auction ended.
And thanks for the post confirming I am not alt, the seller made 100 mil because of the bid but we had already agreed to a buyout at that point.
