So after undocking to a black screen, then relogging to a black screen. Then wiping prefs and logging in... only to freeze after trying to move local window... not to mention all the grief before this...
I am done. It is not worth my time. I'm not gonna pay M$ to beta-test their **** and I'm certainly not gonna pay for beta-testing crap that CCP puts out. And to think the first week was actually playable. Way to go dropping the ball and then squishing it.
Shame to leave, especially after finally finding a good alliance to fly with. So just out of spite I'm gonna go find every review site I can and write up my experience. Probably not gonna matter at all, but at least it's a way to spend time because I can't seem to do it in game. |

And this only because none DV or GM take only 2 minutes to tell us a simple thing : We don't understand what is happening, but be sure we are working on it !

As someone who is unable play for longer than 5-10mins without freezing, I can confirm that the OP's complaints and actions are not only understandable, but completely valid as well. On a scale of 0 to 5, where 0 is watching EVE videos on youtube, and 5 is being able to log in, check the market and make two jumps, the game deserves a solid 1. |

Be aware that for some mac users the game works fairly well. I do get the crashes and the freezes, but maybe once in 10 hours of on-line time. In the last week I think it has happened a total of 2 or 3 times. In that time Ive done missions, mining with 3 clients at once, exploration, a low sec op (bad guys sacrificed a drake to us, then logged), W-space ops, misc industry, flew all over the place, and a sisi test.
The client is actually working fairly well for me. Maybe some difference about how I have my setup? There may be things you can try, like turning off other apps, repair permissions, check how solid your internet is. If it works for me, maybe there is some way to get it to work for you.
CCP employees should never proclaim a feature to be awesome. Only subscribers should.
Subscribers can never answer a question posed to CCP. Only CCP can. |
