Website/business looks legit enough, but check the Terms and Conditions.

The problem with threads like this one is that everybody buys one, or two, or ten, just to make sure that they won't fill your orders. If one or two was ordered then it'd be way more likely to work.

Heh, true. I admit that I considered buying 20 of them. Probably make enough money to go on holiday or something after reselling. But buying 20 at a time is way too obvious. Who buys 20 processors?
So yeah, they will probably pick up on the error, especially after a sudden run on this particular product, and refuse to ship the product for the price paid. I can live with that. If they don't spot it, then I'm just another capitalist scumbag profiting from someone else's misfortune, and I get some extra cash to spend on upgrading my PC (who knows? I might even buy some stuff from these guys if they deliver!) I can live with that too.

I smell a potential court case there.
Surely the UK trading laws apply to online goods as well, if they advertise an item at a certain price then they have to honour that.
Have a word with trading standards?

Common mistake, that. Just because you advertise at a certain price, you're under no obligation to actually SELL at that price. As long as you inform someone of the actual price, clearly, before you take their money, it really doesn't matter what was advertised (unless it is blatant false advertising, in which case there is a government watch dog that polices these things).
The technical terms (iirc, been a long time since I did badly at A Level Law) are that the price on the tag is merely an "invitation to offer" for the customer, not a contract. If the retailer decides to change their offer before they take your money off of you, they're under no obligation to follow the tag. Equally, you could always try an haggle them down from whats on the tag........Good luck with that, though --------
