So... whats the quickest way to get to lvl 4 missions?
Can i just do level 1's until i have the standings to do level 4's?
I'm noticing i can't do nearly the same amount of level 3's in an hour as i could level 1's, and i'm barely getting any standings : |

Well, for me, lvl 3's was without a doubt, I might not get maximal standing for it, but I get a few iskies while im doing it, and its not the same boredome extraordinaire.
Try both, see what you like best, all aspects considered?

I prefer highest level I can use in the lowest security system you can tolerate, ie. 0.5.
1) Use the Agents DB to find a worthwhile agent with the corp you are using.
2) Use Eve Explorer with Show Agents, then filter by 'Agents offering function' = storyline, and 'belonging to corp with name containing'= [your agent's corp here]
Then find Agents which are also near Storyline Agents for the same corp you want to gain faction.
If you do this, you will gain faction as fast as possible outside of the obvious skills like Social, Connections, Diplomacy, etc.

Keep in mind that the higher your standings go, the less effect a % bonus has on them, so the comparatively small increases that L1s give you will make your standings rise slower and slower as you reach the point of dimishing returns. You quickly find that if your goal is to raise standings L1s just may not cut it after a while.

In a word- Storylines.
These are the quickest way to increase your standings to your agents and faction. The higher the agent level, the better the storyline mission and hence the larger the standing increase will be.

Find a storyline agent at a station that also has agents you can use. Run 16 missions in that station, (or run agents same level elsewhere and run the 16th mission in the station with the storyline agent) get storyline mission from agent in that station. Rinse, repeat.

You dont need a high faction standing to get level 4 missions (as indicated in some earlier posts). Corp standing is enough. For example, I have +9 standing with True Power (a Sansha corp), but sansha nation has me at below 0.
The fastest way is to find a station with lots of level 1 and 2 agents, and then do level 1 (and when you can level 2) until level 3 is available. For level 1 and 2 you can use a smaller ship like an AF (I used PvP fitted Vagabond !?).
Once level 3 is available, switch to a mission boat like raven and do level 3 until level 4 is available.
It took me 4 nights to reach level 4 this way, although I am an experienced mission runner so it might take you longer.

Make sure you have good Social and Connections skills, so you get the most standings from them and the most standings boost per mission possible.

courier missions u can do 5-8 in the same time as a combat mission and they lead to storylines tho
Less ISK and less LP and they are boring but u get faster storylines and faster leg up in standings

1. always use the highest agent lvls.
2. dont loot or anything, use a fast, agile ship like interceptors or afs to cruise through lvl1 and lvl2, maybe lvl3.
3. read the mission decription. sometimes you just have to blow up a specific ship or structure.
4. once you can do lvl3, you just need 4 to 8 missions to do lvl4, because you gain much more standing per mission.
5. try to do several missions in one run. if you are in deadend systems, your courier runs can only go in one way, kill missions too.
6. good socials skills arenŠt a must, but don`t hurt.
7. if you are doing missions for a small corp, youŠre are gaining standings much faster than in bigger ones.

Me and a friend got one of our characters +3.7 to caldari state in 9 hours.
It is Called cosmos, and a days worth of intel and research before made it painless and possible.
And this was back when 10 people would compete over 1 "miner"
If you find the right person to talk to they might write you an essay in a priv chat or even have a surplus of agent required cosmos lore that they dont even need anymore.

if all that fails cosmos and also another one is turn in youre gurista tags to the calderi cosmos agents in a 0.5 system same goes for all empire factions cant remember exactly where but its there
