Acctually their is a new highwall implant out that alerts you when a DD went off or when BOB spanked someone. The stress on your server should not be that high now, since the news value of your fleet loss against BOB probably has decreased.

It's presumably because all killboards based on eve-killboard.net are insane resource hogs, so that having a high profile killboard based on it hosted somewhere is going to cost you well in excess of 100$ a month.

D2 KILLBOARD D2 WEBSTATS Now if you look at the webstats you can see there is nothing abnormal about the traffic to the site, infact its quite low, but look at the nice message; "The killboard is currently set to PRIVATE MODE because of high server usage. Please login for full access or come back later.. " DAMAGE CONTROL ANYONE ?

IF the stats are that unfavorable for D¦ - why can the member of the alliance still look at it? wouldn't it make more sense for morale if NO ONE except the leadership could watch it? but then again take a closer look at the eve-killboard.net design. unlike some custom killboards there's no option to "classify" killmails - in other words - eve-killboard.net KBs are a great resource of live-intel - you know who, when and where quite fast and reliable. __________________________________ I don't want to talk about it I don't want to talk about it I don't want to talk about it I don't want to know.
