Dear players,
Im an Amarr CS specialist...
In your opinion which skill will be better??
CS (for AMARR Absolution) or AMARR BS level 5???
I PvE a lot (in my Absolution) but want to start my PvP career...
Isks is not an issue... traning is not an issue... and I will be mostly doing small gang or fleet pvp...
Will not solo in AMARR ships...
Thanks for the help...
Personally I will train both soon or later (but help me plan my next 2-3 months)

Edited by: J Valkor on 19/03/2007 07:28:36 If you are CS specialist be a CS specialist. If you don't plan on doing fleet battles very often and you can fly a battleship somewhat then increase your small gang capabilities.

Ammar BS 5. It's a big jump towards carriers/dreads.

Since you claim to be an Amarr Command Ship specialist, then train Command Ships V.
Training Amarr BS to V will not help you in your CS specialization.

BB 5 is nice if you plan to fly battleships a lot. It is nice if you plan to train capital ship and you ccan afford the upkeep on them and have the next year open to train those skills.
CS 5 is nice if you plan to fly CSs in fleet, if you plan to use BCs in pvp and if the idea of flying a cap ship simply does not attract you.
Personally, I prefer the CS rout. Cap ships sit in your station, require you to plan every move or operation around it and limit your contribution to roaming pvp gank-squads. The only reason to train cap ships is if your corp/alliance needs pilots and are willing to cut you a good deal on them. Otherwise, master the ship you will use and others will appriciate more.

I'd stick to the Absolution, if you can afford it and it seems you can. In a fleet, BS lvl 5 is just another BS level and you're allright with lvl 4 in that scenario. In smaller gangs a Cmd ship is more fun as it's more agile and has smaller signature resolution on the guns, which means you kill small stuff faster than with big gunz.
Plus, you feel better riding a corvette cab to the beach than dads old van, right? :)
