CiNi MSi Combat Technologies	Posted - 2007.03.20 08:59:00 - [6] Its generally a "get people interested" thing to start an auction low. ie keep the auction near the top kinda thing. But as u know, auctions dont really take off till the last day but there is certainly no harm in having people see it :) As i'm sure you also know (cos u frequent this section of the forums, as i do albeit with another character), some folks make long auctions to try to build up a head of steam so to speak, whereas some folks start low. I have chosen to start low. It is most certainly NOT a price check auction cos i know exactly what its worth and what i want for it. It WILL be sold if it reaches reserve (hence the short auction), feel free to come back thursday as i'm sure the reserve will be open then if u are interested. If not, why bother replying ? thx for the bump :)

(Using Jita prices). How can you be so certain that it is worth 2.2 billion? It would have to be worth at least 185 million a month to warrant a price tag (read check) of 2.2 bil. Just my opinion. Kind regards Ademus OK lets do the sums manufacturing time 2 hours divided by 24 (hours in a day) = 12 multiplied by 30 (days in a month) = 360 Current selling price in Jita just under a mill but for arguments sake we will say 750k (currently 200 on sale at 999,999.00) So 360 units x 750k = 270mill gross a month. So ON YOUR FIGURES THIS BPO'S RESERVE IS BELOW MARKET VALUE ..... TY for your constructive input to this thread BTW the profit increases are substantially higher if sold out side Jita Signature to big, read signature rules for proper size - Acario Vito

Firstly, it's not 12 per day, it's 11. (23 hours, 44 minutes and 41 seconds) So, 11, at a sales price of 900,000 isk would give you revenue of 9,900,000 isk a day. The cost of each unit is approximately 715,600 isk in a station factory. Multiply this number by 11 units/day and you get a daily cost of production equalling approximately 7,871,495 isk. So, we all know that profit = Revenue - Costs. Profit = 9,900,000 - 7,871,495 Profit = 2,028,405 PER DAY! This means that it would take 36.15 months of profits to earn back the 2.2 billion isk reserve you have set. All of these numbers are changeable to some extent, of course, as market fluctuations occur by the minute. Also, the manufacturer might be able to shave off some more costs by producing some of the components instead of buying from the market. However, you would have to knock down the cost per unit by 50%, to recover your capital outlay in approximately 12 months. I'm not sure that is possible. Remember kids, there's a reason our boy here is selling this print. First question in your minds should always be "why?" he may have legitimate reasons (ie, to raise funds for a more costly T2 BPO), or he may just want to offload something that isn't worth the time nor effort to net 60 million isk per month. The last one of these that sold was sold for 2b isk and was pe0 and me0. so 10% extra for reasearch that will build way more than 200 units extra a year is very fair. The reserve is fair!! also - where do u get this figure from of 715k to build?? thank you very much for derailing my auction. oo hey - isnt that a banstick offence?

I'd prefer to call it healthy discussion. I had no intention of insulting you, but moreso to inform the less experienced viewers. You always seem to go to a certain level then start whining when it goes beyond what ur opinion tells u its worth. auction almost over - feel free to go ** up someone elses with your somewhat fanciful figures and negative attitude (which i am sure u will as u seem to enjoy doing it)
