Out of all the ship in EVE up to BS (not including faction ships), what do you think would be best at breaking up gate camps whilst still being usable for PvP/ratting (as a ship, not same setup nessicarily).
Also any setup recommendations for said ship welcome.

0.0 or just lowsec camps? Lowsec - BS. 0.0 - depends on the camp...

Either or both.
Nothing huge like blobs sitting off gate, but kinda 10-15man camps, maybe with bubble, few BS etc.

Unless it's a gatecamp set up by total retards, no one ship in Eve will survive it. To kill a 6-10 strong gang of mixed ships you will need (my suggestions):
A bait Abaddon (to make everyone agro and make sure no one leaves the party early through the gate), with 2 x plates, as high resists as possible and 4 x nos/4 smarties in the highs.
2-6 blaster/autocannon battleships (since the fighting will be close range). 2-4 Dominix loaded with Nos and heavy drones (good as survivable damage plus all that nos can paralyze important ships like a Command Ship or big damage dealer. 0-2 Rooks/Scorpions for jamming support. 0-2 Huginns to get the frigs that survived the smarties. 0-4 Interceptors to catch anything that runs to another gate.
Anything less cannot guarantee to break the camp, and if you don't then that's alot of expensive gear to lose.
And make sure you attack through the camped gate, rather than warping to the gate from inside the system. If they see local spike, they'll know exactly what is going on. ---

Well 1... me, against however many at the camp. And by break up I mean get them to either die or disperse or at least consider me to much hassle and just let me pass though.
I'm not planning on breaking up anything to big just maybe like 2 BS's 3 BC's 4 cruisers, 5 frigs or something along those lines.
I figured probably one of the new teir 3 BS's or a NOS domi/phoon.
Was hoping someone may have tried something similar.

To be honest, unless you go for a full deadspace setup Rattlesnake or something, you're not gonna be able to without a gang behind you. Or use a capital, but that kinda defies the point. ---

Sounds like fun.
Go for as much nos as you can, the biggest tank you can, and then fit a scram.
Always scout the camp first, because if you cant target anyhting, you will just become another wreck.

i like to use a typhoon with:
8 x smartbombs 100mn MWD, 3 cap boosters 2 x 1600mm plate, mar, DC, 2 wcs, cpr
go in, align with mwd on and when tacklers are in range set off smarties till they all dead, wait a while out of range of other ships to see iof they were stupid enough to let drones still come after u, kill drones. then get in a snipership of some sort and pick off all the targets, smallest first.

or (only non capital option i can think off):
Use a bs, rokh for example and have 5+ bm around the gate, keep warping around locking them and firing, sooner or later they will ****off...or kill you.
I more wanna be able to jump though the gat and get out.
Would even an uber tanked maelstrom with all slots towards tanking and guns be able to do it (im not bothered bout tackling them.

Aha, you want a pvp fitted ship that can jump into gatecamp and get out ?
Well since nanos get nerfed.
Provided they don't have a rapier, and people who go faster than you, these ships can do it:
1. Vagabond. 2. Interceptors. 3. Cloaking recons (pilgrim with MWD who bursts it once and cloaks after the burst can easily mwd out of the bubble WHILE cloaked and warp out before they decloak you).

this is not possible with 1 normal ship. you need either a 20 billion navy megathron or capital ships or overpowered things like the nanophoon to pull this off. You're talking ''I wanna be able to jump back through the gate'' once you jump in you will have to stop firing for 30 seconds before you can jump out again
(I always forget the scrambler btw, so annoying)

I think the OP misworded the topic... at least that's my interpretation after I read through all the posts o.O

I'll try to explain myself a bit better.
I'm going around EVE and jump though a gate. Low and behold, when i finish jumping I find myself sitting in the middle of a group of ships who all seems quite intent on killing me.
In this group of ships I want to either be able to power my way back to the gate (no speed mods just for this purpose) or preferable power my way though the gate gamp out of any bubbles they may have and get away either by them giving up, not being able to hold onto me, or them running away.

somethign that worked a few times for me is an Uber tanker like Rokh or MAesltrom. MWD to gate (even is that means only 1 km/s). Have your drones killling tacklers.
An not big camp (like at most 3 BS plus a few smallers) will not kill you before you reach the gate. That if you can keep the tacklers from webbing you (and dont forget to retrieve dornes and stop agros 30 sec before you reach gate)
A scorpion may also do it my jamming the tacklers.
If brute force doesn't solve your problem... you are not using enough |

Very, very unlikely to be able to get away from a sufficiently well-prepared and determined gate-camp.
This setup may work:
highs smartbombs and nos mwd, cap booster, sensor boosters warp core stabs, damage control.
Use the mwd to get out of the bubble, the nos, smarties and drones to neutralise any frig tacklers, and warp off. Maybe. Alternatively do what everybody else does and use a scout.

Not guaranteed to work at all. Enough ships and nothing can really get you out.
Try a Typhoon with 8x large smarties, MWD, 7x WCS, ECM burst, 2x Large shield extenders and light drones. Enter system to find yourself in a gate camp. Deploy 5x Light Drones ASAP. They will kill the first frig/ceptor that tackles you. MWD out of bubble if need be while now smacking with smarties if other frigs are near. Smack the ECM burst when you can to knock off some locks and avoid some webbing. Once outside the bubble warp away. Hopefully by now you have 7 or less ships using warp scramblers on you. If there are more than that.... well no need to worry, you prolly won't survive long enough to get out of bubble. -------------------------------------- ---"What's in your wallet?"--- "There are two kinds of respect, fear and admiration.... So pretty much exactly what I posted but with a ECM burst?

Not the transport ship. All that hp and high resists doesn't matter a damn if you're solo. ---

In my experience flying a big ship into a potential camp is just alot of money waiting to be lost. The best thing that I think you can do is mount a cloak. Jump into the system, lo and behold there's a camp. Pick a vector, hit the cloak, then change that vector by like 120 degrees or so and move at your best speed away from the camp, or towards the gate. It will take forever but it gives you the best chance to survive.

Unfortunately, with the nano/istab nerf, transport ships have been nerfed quite hard in their ability to quickly align and warp. Used to be a handful of seconds, now you're looking 5-10. Not to mention the loss of top speed for motoring back to gate.
