What happens if you salvage the wreck before it is looted, will it turn into 50 cans then?

Originally by: Eridicus No need to wardec. Get together a group like Outbreak did and suicide a freighter for 400M ISK.
Chances are the loot will be stellar.
Also, fill a freighter up with frigs, keep it at a POS insured. When dreads show up, suicide the freighter. Out pops all those frigs, lag kicks in, dreads die. Freighters are fleet assets now.
Horrible idea that will grind industry to a halt and create lagclusterbombs.
Deliberately creating lag is against the EULA. If someone does this petition them, surely.
Same with the instant war-dec - it's an exploit, someone does it then petition them.

stupid people... it takes 24h untill a wardec goes into effect.... The wardeccing/retreating is what shows up if a corporation leaves an alliance...

true. its not the exploit... when a corp leaves the alliance they dec evryone that the alliance had warred... so they retract wars
but still i hear theres the exploit whit the dec and retract somehow... its very disturbing.
its unsecure to fly a 1bil ship + god knows the value of cargo in highsec and get deced and pwned whitout warning pretty much. i have no probs if i get decced and have to wait 24h... you can organise and repare for the war Your signature exceeds the maximum allowed filesize of 24000 bytes -Elmo Pug ([email protected]) Great being Gallente... aint it ? ----------------- YARRRR, sig hijack! -HornFrog ----------------- |

I spot freighter i wardec freighters alliance and i'm in the privateer alliance. It takes 24h before the war goes into effect.... Freighter is gone.
Corporation that is in privateer alliance leaves alliance. It takes 24h before the war for that corp ends.

Am I missing something in the Patch notes.. I don't see where it states that freighters now drop cans / items.. Didn't they test this a few months ago on Sisi and found that it created HORRIFFIC lag? (Try popping 2-3 freighters at once in Jita.. watch node crash)
Please quote the line item in the patch notes for me.. Thanks

firstly, the point of the OP was that its not in the patch notes but is on Sisi - ergo, it is assumed that it will go into Tranq today. Right or wrong, thats the reason for the post.

Hmmm, worrying. If freighter pilots can't fly AFK, prices for their services will go up. Also, bumping should be fixed before freighters drop loot, so they at least have some chance to survive when ganked.

No - they have huge cargo.
Could give freighters 1 low slot and bonus that gives 100% reduction to Grid and CPU requirements of hull repairers. Would mean they can only fit hull repairers to the slot and not expanders

I know I'm new, but I just fit a hull rep to my frigate to fix it last night and it was a Medium slot, not a low slot. So if the issue is not wanting to increase cargo room but to fix the hull, simply give it a couple midslots.
