I am just wondering what the best deal anyone has ever got using contracts or escrow.
For me is was a long time ago using escrow, I got a 170 mil HAC and about 30 milof of T2 gear for 2 million isk, granted it was semi deep in 0.0 but I managed to sell it for over 150 mil.

hyperion 5 run bpc 1000 isk.
after i bought it the former 'owner' asked for it back as it was incorrectly priced. i felt sorry for him so i sent him another 1000 isk.

Aside from various freebies from escrow (before people started using scripts to claim them) I picked up a couple of T2 ship BPOs mistakenly put up instead of BPCs. The more expensive of the two is worth around 6b, but I got it for 35m.

Nothing as extreme as the ones mentioned so far, but I'm still well annoyed at missing out on a faction mwd for my interceptor for 20 million (usually sells for 60), due to my client freezing at it having sold when I could log back in a couple of weeks ago.

A corp mate picked up a either a carrier or dread (was a while ago, forget now) for 1.8 million. We just assumed it was supposed to be 1.8 billion... he didn't shut up about it for weeks  .
Actually, I think 2 corp mates spotted it at almost the same time, the other one of course got a bit *****y about it .

I got a Domination Stasis Webifier for 15M a few months ago, after a short break from EVE. I thought prices had crashed or something and hesitated for a minute before claiming it.
Curiously, no-one else had claimed it and it was up for at least 7 minutes.
