Sorry if this has been done before but I'm a noob and experiencing a bad case of EVE-itis: thinking of, or refering to everyday events or items in a language usually reserved for EVE. Here's a few examples:
1 )Refering to your house or garage as a Player Owned Structure. 2) Driving off from the traffic lights and a little voice in the back of your mind says "warp drive active". 3) Refering to any large vehicle on the freeway/motorway as probably being a great armour tanker. 4) Passing a wrecked vehicle and wondering how much salvage you could get. 5) Parading a banana around the kitchen, wondering how many more skill point you need to fly that Amarr Apocalypse.
I'm probably very alone in this, but it makes me laugh.

Don't worry if you will be flamed though, next week you can flame the next guy for posting the same thread again
_____ This post is not my personal opinion. It does represent the standpoint of every single player ! |

When you know that the first reply to a "You know you've been playing too much EvE..." will point out that it's been done already.
Not that I have any problem with the topic, I always find it quite amusing.

When your install cd is still in the drive from 3 years ago.
*checks* Yup still there.
Do computers do more than run eve? :D ---------------------------------------
That's a Templar, an Amarr fighter. It is a combat drone used by carriers.

How about this
You know you play too much eve when you know you read too much eve-forums because you make posts like "You know you play too much eve when threads are done weekly"
or
You know you play too much eve when you go mentally down for one our a day and are laying in your bed for 60 minutes for maintanace, especially if you occationally have problems getting mentally back up, like TQ
or
You know you play too much eve if you wonder when all the rocks on your belt will respawn
or
You know you play too much eve if you repackage your car to get the exhaust out of it
or
You know you play too much eve if you ask your local car discounter how much pg that Audi has with your skills
or
You know you play too much eve when you call the next hospital to make sure your clone is up to date ...

You know you play too much EVE when:
>Bugs in game annoy you more than RL politics
>Your partner ask if she can have you when the "other woman" is finished with you.
You keep an issue of E:ON in the bathroom for a little light reading during your "bio-breaks"
>You read more on the forums than you do books, newspapers, and all other sources put together
>When you know you could come up with a dozen more answers to this question but it would cut into your forum reading time.

I did that once... "wtf why did eve freeze?" never again. Also, not good when you're on teamspeak with your corp or alliance. Don't be the guy who yells "RAT!"
