Hi all i am an undergraduate student at Uni doing a survey for my thesis which asks for some general demographic information and your views on work, family, religion, community and leisure. This is an anonymous survey meaning that no personal information is collected so your identity is kept confidential. The survey will take an approximate 5-10 minutes maximum to complete.

Hmmm,
1st point, I'd like to be able to tick off more than 1 MMO(RP)G, as I (and I think this is the case for most players of this type of games) have 'shopped' arround and sampled different types.
Just a suggestion

...and no I'm a guy so read that as house-husband, my woman got all the greed and motivation. I got chores for life, childrens, and day time TV.

Done. I would agree, it would have been nice if you could tick off more than one mmorpg. I've played EQ, EQ2, COH, Eve, SWG, EnB, and a few others...

Done. Can't resist but to comment.
Great format, these days if you want to get someone's opinion or do a survey it's gotta be fast and the least time consuming. The keywords in caps were great.
Though, 14 questions, some repetitive (and I've responded different to them) make me wonder about the quality of the survey?
EXAMPLE:
Question 3) How important and significant is COMMUNITY in your total life?
I answered 3 - somewhat important (I thought you were on about gaming communities)
Then:
on a scale of 1-5 Community activities (like volunteering, unions, political org., etc)
I answered 2 - not that important
You basicly give your definition of community there. I interpretated it wrongly maybe?

however you didnt have an option for Batcholors Degree, I imagine you have put the options there for the American system as opposed to the British, so I put Masters (which is actually a level above)

Thesis, pfft, do what i did..
Spend 3 mornings writing up 10k words reviewing MMO's and why they rock, whilst eating breakfast...
..yes, it failed, but my research was arguing with fanboi's....sweeet.

Isn't asking for volunteers on a MMORPG forum for a survey which asks a couple of questions about MMORPGs going to skew your results just a tiny, tiny amount?
