Suppose corp A and corp B are at war. A wants to surrender so the CEO of A meets the CEO of B at a station. A clicks surrender and a trade window shows up, A gives B money, B accepts and the war is over. Is this right? What happen if seconds after the war is over B re-declare war to A? Is it possible? Thanks

Edited by: Ilea Celentay on 20/03/2007 16:32:15 Unfortunately corporation wars a little... flawed in how they work.
Surrendering is fine and all, but like you point out there is no way to be sure that corp A will not simply redec' the war.
Also, if a war is mutual its still possible for the original dec'ing corp to simply Retract it.
Wars are in need of some <3 to say the least.

I'd say spend the money on mercs instead --

Better solution: Give 50 mil to Privateers, they will Wardec your enemy. Repeat weekly till maximum aggravation is achieved.

Actually this isnt a bad idea in the case to make wars more meaningful .....
possibly, coupled with an form of contract ie not necesserially a sum of isk or goods, maybe a exchange of terrirority, or agreement that the losing enitiy isnt allowed to be seen in a certain area of space, failure to comply would result in either a free war decleration or the ability for the aggressor to take ownership of said alliance/corp ?
