The deployment of the Revelations 1.4 patch is experiencing technical difficulties and the downtime has been extended by 30 minutes. We estimate a Return to Service (RTS) at approximately 1730 GMT.
We apologize for the inconvenience. Further updates will be added to this post.
Update- 1715 GMT- The patch is available for autopatching and download.

I'm not too bothered, still have to wait a month or so for hulk prices to start dropping anyhow. 
Keep up the good work and try to make sure folks actually can get in in half an hour.... you know how this lot get when deadlines are missed.

To all the whining (coming in shortly, i suppose) i must say that running 30-60min late on a patch is no big deal. Even 2 hours should fit well in customer patience.
Although i'd wish to get the info about the delay a little ealier than at the estimation deadline :P
But nevertheless, a little delay is no big deal at all =)

you shouldnt complain so much, atleast here they keep comming with info all the time. I've played alot of mmorpg and all of them have the lack of a skill called sharing information

everyone needs to relax, patching is done far better here then in some other major games i have played. i still remember a 6 hour patch that became 2 full days. it will be up when it's ready.

you said you add new soundtracks, resmusic is the biggest file so far to be patched.

gmt never changes and eve is always gmt. The UK will be changing to BST (GMT+1) next week though.

Erm no...GMT = GMT. Iceland doesn't use daylight saving, and neither does Eve. EvE time = GMT end of.

GMT does not change. Britain switches to BST (British Summer Time) which is GMT+1. Eve will still be on GMT.

Patch notes look good, and its nice to see the game being taken forward.
Its nice to hear there is QA and its working
But.. the server motd estimates. Come on if anything, you can be sure thats NOT when the server will be up.

Run the client as administrator and the game has permissions to auto download the patch. It will be placed in your eve cache directory. If you're on 64 bit vista remember your eve folder will be in the x86 programs folder.

GMT never changes
Countries change their times for instance next week the UK switches the BST ( British Summer Time) and ends up GMT + 1 hour.

I know whining about the whining whiners is wrong, but please for the love of all that is holy (or unholy if your that way inclined) would people please stop going on about folks having a fit that the game isn't up yet.
Pretty much no one seems to be complaining about the extended downtime, only complaining about people complaining about it.

GMT doesn't change either. If you are in England you deal with BST, but that's not GMT changing, thats you having a daylight savings time.

Slightly off topic but why isn't the fix for shooting cans/resetting agro timer in this patch, since it's considered an exploit you'd think it would have priority.
Or is it me that can't read patch notes or hasn't it been added to the patch notes?
