Noone can control Eve, maybe if you define 'control' as every char can enter any system,
I would say no one entity can control Eve.
The Goons you could say control the most minds, like cultists after a fashion with their hive mind/blinkered view of the game, but they will never control the game as no one entity ever can. Each player defines his/her own end game and goals, once acieved that player can say they have won it from their own point of view and aspect.

Maybe this is why the CFC is soo popular, you dont have to be some old bittervet to be a part of it. My corp is about 6 months old and the majority of its membership has been playing less than 2 years, TEST might be a lot of things but boring isn't one of them. I guess a lot of the bittervets take offense that people actually still enjoy playing EVE. |

Scalding pass, Detorid, Tenerifis, Esoteria, Paragon Soul, Feythabolis, Omist, and Etherium Reach were all controlled by GoonSwarm at the same time in 2007.
Frankly owning that much space is overrated and why no one bloc will ever own everything in the game. It's too much of a pain in the ass to maintain. |
