I wanted to take a screenshot for my desktop, so I'll assume I use the printscreen button as usual. But how do I turn the interface off? Do I have to X everything out manually? If so what about all the little markers floating around?

Ctrl+Tab will turn off the HUD. Ctrl+Print Screen to copy the SS to clipboard.

Pressing "Prt Scrn" will save a screenshot to your hard drive under the C:\Program Files\CCP\capture\screenshots.
Keep in mind that if you hit ESC ingame there is an option to save screenshots in HI REZ.. I reccomend this.

1. ctrl+tab to get rid of the interface
2. rightclick in space and hold the right-mouse-button pressed while moving the mouse to zoom in out/move around etc.
3. print-button -> cheeeeees
4. go to your EVE folder, EVE/capture/Screenshots
5. upload em to eve-files.com and share em with us :D

Another note..
The mouse pointer is still visible when the UI is hidden, however it is NOT saved on the screenshots, so you can get some pretty nice shots by messing about with the camera.
