I take my Dom warp into a .3 belt. use my 3 ab's to get to a rock. Turn on my miners ii's
Yes I have 6 and I have put out my 8 drones.
Get to the rock!!! NO CAP.
Not enough energy to power the miner ii's
3 npc's come in a start targeting my drones and kill 6 of the eight before I can get lock because lock thats so long. I finally get all 3 npc's killed. 2 drones left So I have to shut everthing thats running off {6 mII's} and try to go and get my 1 of my drones that is sitting out there. Which takes about 15 minutes to get him! Sorry I cannot see where the fun is. Somebody please explain what is next. I loved this game but now I am always frustrated.
I guess you want me to Quit there is nothing I see that is going to be fun here..
Am I the only whinner out here! Everyone I know is thinking like me.
DEVS please tell us what you are going to do before its too late.!

EvilD. the devs has at multiple occasions said they wanted to reduce BS mining in empire space..
and now you whine when things go bad when you ignore this and go on as always??! 
even the paranoid has real enemies...

So miner II's only drain cap in Empire space?

What the devs have done is make sure every BS miner will stick to high sec space and stripmine 0.9 - 1.0 systems.
So I really think they lied if/when they said they wanted to reduce BS mining in empire space.
All the angels and the puny men of god looked away...

YES i did write that.
So I guess I am suppose to mine in 1.0 or .9 !!
I did not know I could not mine alone any more.
Most people do mine alone!!! Yes I am in a corp but they are not always there. so I guess I will park in a 1.0 and .9 and mine and mine and mine.. Sounds like something everyone will want to do.....................BORING

u know, miner 2's suck alot of cap now, i can barely keep them up with 5/4 on the cap skills :D, slap on a bunch of cap relays rather than all those cargo expanders and u will be fine
if i get down to 0 cap from using my mwd, i CANT even sustain my 6miner 2's, so i have to wait a bit as cap recharges fastest a bit below 50% etc etc, adapt, dont whine

So I installed the patch, started mining, got my drones out... pirates come, before I can even lock on, my drones jump into action and rip them to bits... wicked. Then I notice that my cap is being drained, I check the attributes of my miner 2's and find out they are the cause, but no matter, my cap leveled off at 55% anyway with 7 of them on the go. Good planning and a level head make this game/simulation intresting.
This game isnt for everyone, if your not liking it, leave.

That is outrageously funny!! Evildoomer, you only praise the game when it works for you. Now that you can't do business as usual you flame the game. . What is wrong with you?
Sounds like you need to work on your Engineering and Navigation skills. To tell you the truth I have no problem running 6 Miner II's on my Dominix. I can fill 20 giant cans without using 25% of Capacitor.
Also sounds like you need to work on your Gunnery skills too! I know it takes a while to target but there should be no reason pirates take out 6 of your drones before you can target them.
Sounds like a N00b barely able to use a BS to me.

Well, where I cry foul is the countless hours I spent scouting the galaxy, getting shot at, losing ships, activiting clones, to locate good mining fields only to have all that data flushed down the toilet with the roid shuffle. Add on the EXTREME amount of time it now takes to get from point A to point B and all I see is time spent waiting in this game vs playing it. The changes are great if you love combat, but for the miner, you just got hosed. Less play time for me, more payday for CCP. I do love the game concept, but now find myself wondering why....

Why u running around a .3 with no weapons mounted?
Why did u only use 8 drones.. dom has room for more? Surely you could have replenished your complement as they were taken out?
Everyone makes choices, u chose to leave yourself open to attack. Not saying that is right or wrong, just that you have little room to complain about it after the fact.

I bet they sit back and laugh about whining pansies like you. Want to mine in < .5? Mount some weapons to protect yer a$$ and mount modules that do more than just give 1337 mining Ski11z(tm) (sensor booster would've helped you out there.)
