Have other clients open, closed one and tried to reopen another and it hung badly. I can keep running the open clients but cannot open any others whatsoever.
Was an update during the patch on the launcher but not the client, one purged file and now this. Closed launcher and reopened and nothing. Rebooted and nothing.
Basically cannot play any client thats not already open.
Have you heard anything I've said?
You said it's all circling the drain, the whole universe. Right?
That's right.
Had to end sometime.

Basically the same problem here, only difference is that i just wanted to start playing...
Launcher starts very slow and often shows "version info not available" or sth. similar.
And no reaction after clicking the Play button... |

hey, please thank the reliable EVE Devs that took away the option to log in via exe-file :) now we can enjoy that classy flaw-less launcher and spend money for looking at that instead of actually flying our friggin spaceships... |

Update:
Start the launcher and go watch videos on youtube ... at some point it finishes loading and it works again  |

This is so convenient - Launcher doesn't do anything now. Clicking on it, the game doesn't start - even if you are running with admin privileges on Windows 10.
And previously, we could log in directly via the client, selecting server list from the launcher menu - now it is explicitly blocked, asking to log in via launcher. Only if this launcher worked?
Any other ideas?? |

Starting the launcher with admin rights seems to solve this(for now).
Might add that this is happening since windows'es latest "hotfix" today.
Seems like its not CCP's fault, something user management related must glitch out. |
