What is with this speed nerfing! My god people it takes me 5 min to get from 20 km out to the station! If we are going to have this speed nerfing? Why dont you make it to where you can warp 10km or 15 km away instead of this 20 30 40 crap, I know you can use it for being safe in low sec areas but what about miners who have their indy's that have 6 afterburners on them that wont even boost them 50m/sec when they are all on draining the cap! I dont know who came up with this speed nerfing but something needs to be done cause there are alot of people that are ****ed about this issue!

Edited by: Jarjar on 21/12/2003 20:04:13 Default range is 15km already on chaos, check before you whine about it Edit: My Badger MK2 does about 420m/s, goes at least 25km before the cap is drained, no problems with it. Indys are supposed to be slow, 420m/s isn't slow.

The thing that irritates me the most is the apparent nerf to Acceleration Control. I spent weeks training it to level 5 but get no extra speed bonus from it than my other account does which has identical Navigation skills & levels apart for AC (which is @ level 1).
Acceleration Control states you get an extra 5% boost to AB's per level but, afaik, since Castor its useless

Sounds like you have the wrong AB's on for your class of vessel. If you have 1MN AB's on an Indy then it's not going anywhere fast. This is old news and we were warned well in advance of the changes.

CCP need to take into account, that people dont just do things, thay plan for future, long term plans are then trashed by CCP just doing what thay like, with no regard for the time people have spent on planing.
Ok ill give them another chance, this time
But if thay do such a massive change again, ill not be staying, if the game keeps changing in such a major way, whats the point in haveing any plans at all
This is still a beta, and the attertude of, so you dont like it, tuff ***** wont work for long.
More care need to be used when adding new patches. Whats the point in testing a patch when thay start changing things at the last hour, and maybe some of the guys shotting in these patches need to play the dam game as well.
Tec 2 is in all a good patch, regarding its content. but this should have been in the game before it went live ==================================================
I'M not a carebear, I'M a total coward, beware of cornerd carebares and cowards, we winge and cry like cornered pirates..........

I think the confusion comes from the fact speed boosting modules are classed as frigate-sized, cruiser-sized, and battleship-sized.
I was a bit confused about which MWD to equip on an indy too.

If your hauling ore go for max cargo space and use bookmarks. Just have to be quick hitting dock before you are bounched off the station at 800m/s |

Nasty: I agree with you. CCP needs to find the 'spot' and stop changing the game on such a large scale. This should have all been taken care of in Beta. I don't want to hear this BS about all MMOGs go through this... It doesn't matter, we're paying for the game now, and it should not still be in a 'test phase.'

Mercy killer: All mmog's are in a constant test phase. Nothing you can do about it. Haven't you played other mmog's for longer than a month?
