Hey all, I was wondering how manufacturing corporations handle sales of corp goods. It seems like a large manufacturing corporation would need a good number of people distributing and selling the manufactured products.
But as far as I can tell there are no in game controls to help a corporation ensure that those products are sold for the corp. There is an option to sell for the corp, but there is no way to ensure that a product is sold for the corp.
How do corps manage this? One way might be to keep a record of all the products the corp gave to each sales person, and have the sales person keep a record of everything they have sold, as well as an inventory of all of their open orders, and tally it up every month. But this seems like way too much work.
Have other corps come up with good solutions for this? Or, in the end, do you just have to trust your sales folks not to get too greedy? Your signature exceeds the maximum allowed filesize of 24000 bytes -Eldo Davip ([email protected]) |

Station Warehouse called "Trade" and periodically match your corp wallet with the log, if the guy suddenly set a buy order for 2 apoc and you got 3 took, there is something that need to be explained. But certainly you can only thrust as seller some people in which you have confidence.
Another way to do that is to make your corp "sell" to their member the goods at a reasonable price which make it make benefits while being low enough for your member to sell the goods with benefits (but it work best for t2 items, because of the margin you can have a profit, which is impossible with a t1 good). ----

Esurnir, thanks for the great suggestions. Is there anyway to export the container logs and transaction logs from Eve? Would be great to be able to write a script that did the analysis for you; checking what was taken versus what was sold.
