I'm not sure if it's just me or what but I would like to get this cleared up for anyone out there (myself included) for problems with Windows Vista and EvE Voice.
Feel Free to use this layout and follow up in this post. Also make sure that you have done the following options before you post, some of them could solve your problems.
My Specs:
OS: Windows Vista Home Premium
Computer Type: HP dv9000t Laptop
Sound card: Conexant HD Audio
Typical Support Questions and Answers:
Are you running in Windows XP SP2 Compatability: Yes
Do you have the most up to date drivers: Yes
Are you running EvE-Online in administrator mode: Yes
Do you have your account turned on for the 30-day EvE-Voice trial: Yes
Have you tried reinstalling EvE-Online: Yes
Is your mic muted: No
Do you have the right input and output settings selected: Yes
Did you get rid of "voiceenabled=0" in the previous fix for Windows Vista users: Yes
Overlying problem you are having:
1. I tried right clicking the channel tab and joining audio it works but then hangs.
2. Under the options menu (for the sound) I can use the Echo-Test and see the bar moving up and down {thus there is input} but do not hear any playback.
Note #1: Audio Input line has no selectable options.

sound card realtek azalia hd audio
xpsp2 compat mode yes
uptodate drivers yes
admin mode yes
eve-voice trial yes
reinstall eve no
mic muted no
right input output yes
problems
can join audio no problems can hear other people no problems
under options menu i can use echo test can see bar moving up and down ie input, can hear nothing and nobody can hear me.
audio input line no selectable option
also if i change to another channel ie alliance and the go back to corp and try to rejoin audio i am unable to till i reboot the client.

Dear All,
Just a quick reminder:
CCP is currently working on fixing eve for vista but currently vista is not fully supported by the eve client.
I really hope that it will get fixed quickly.
