With money?
Taking a wild stab at it, i presume that the payment option for eve voice is seperate from the account subscription option?
If your question is how to i pay for eve voice with isk... don't think you can.

If you go into your options menu, there's a difficulty slider. Put that all the way over to the easiest setting and you'll be fine. |

That's not trolling. It's a valid point. Why pay for something when there's a perfectly viable free alternative?

^^ what she said. This is a question being asked by many eve players at this time. Bottom line is to get the masses to shift over to this it must offer something TS/Ventrilo can't.

Why? I don't like it but I don't think any part of it is illegal or against the EULA.

First of all it's a horribly broken statement. Either the poster knows this and was intentionally trolling, or is just ignorant.
1. You don't already have it. Vivox is different to Vent/TS, different features and capability. 2. TS/Vent aren't free. Don't knock Vivox because in this case you are the person who has to pay instead of someone else. (Run it on your own machine? Let's see it handle the whole Eve playerbase).
On top of this, the OP is asking about paying for Vivox, there are plenty of threads debating whether Vivox is good or not, this is not one of them. The above is just someone taking the opportunity to knock something they don't like in a thread started by someone who apparently does like it.
Thus, troll. -

Game Time Cards. You buy game time and then apply it to an account. Or something like that. -

1. You don't already have it. Vivox is different to Vent/TS, different features and capability. And doesnt work and is crap you'd think they could get it to work with probably the most used onboard sound card. 2. TS/Vent ARE free. Don't knock Vivox because you have to pay for it.

I would just like to point out to those who say TS/Vent are free, that they are only free as long as you have someone in your corp absorbing the cost of the server (be it subscription or using his own bandwidth).
Once that person disappears, then the cost to reestablish another TS/Vent server becomes a reality, and hopefully you have another person who is willing to absorb the costs in the original providers absence.

The only reason I would personally not pay for Vivox is because it's really like this:
Server messes up/crashes, Vivox messes up/crashes.

we got all sorts of people on our TS, eve friends, corp and alliance members. That just requires some secure channel making... not 40 times more dollars...
seriously if that price is needed to cover the costs to pay for the bandwith used and the servers and software, then somewhere they are seriously getting screwed!
or you will be be if you pay that amount of cash for it...

IF you already have a TS server. Is their an implied offer to the entire playerbase to use your TS server to talk to other people?
If not, you are simply pointing out, like so many before you, that Vivox is not the be-all and end-all of VOIP. Which really isn't a problem. -

you are wrong m8, Vent and TS are free if you have your own server !! Download server Client, install and run on your server, voila ! Most people that want to use comms already do, vivox is good for those that dont, no point in getting it however for the 1000s that already have ts/vent. I only use it for ops, if i want to make friends and chat ill go to the Pub or something.

you are wrong m8, Vent and TS are free if you have your own server !!
And you can magic servers out of nowhere?
These things dont come free, you still have to buy/rent the server, you still have to pay for the connection, use up a lot of bandwidth etc etc.
Unless you have a server for some other purpouse, and it happens to have alot of free resources (why would anybody pay for a server that far above there needs?), its not free.
Vivox is a nice way to spread the cost of the voice comms, instead of having the costs met by one person. -----

This is a very good point. We all know that TS/Vent keeps a lot of us sane during unscheduled extended downtimes. Topical. If you're paying for Vivox at the moment... it's just another service you're paying for but not receiving.

I so like that.. IRLISK...
With regard to the whole TS thing.. TS is free, servers are free. I run TS Server on the same PC as I run Eve client & TS Client.. Bandwidth overhead is next to nothing.
Having said that, the new wonderful speech dohicky, will come loaded with ingame features.. Which is cool.
And.. having said that.. It kinda sucks that when the speech part of the client has a problem you have to restart the eve client..
And... Sorry for derailing.
Now shush.. it says it should be ready to play again soon.. edit: <-- Grr.. lying piece of poo..
Cheers,

Yes, lets compare.
100 Slot TS Server at $30/mo which comes in at $360 for the year and has to be paid for by one person. Hopefully you can get help from corp mates, but in my experience, everyone says they will help but always seem to forget.
or
I pay my $10 for a whole year of Vivox, and let everyone else worry about their own voice service and I save $350 for the year.
You're right, it's not a tough choice, I think I'll go with Vivox and let everyone else worry about their own voice solution and use the money I save to buy some beer.

Wow this topic got completely out of hand, no one has answered my original question just gone off with there own assinine ideas and convo's.
SO back on topic, Is the only way to pay for EVE voice by credit card ? cause I dont have one that is why i use GTC's and I think alot of players do aswell.
Also if that is the case are other pay options in the works ?
