I am wondering if the devs are aware that bonuses from the mining skill do not properly work on any mining beams other than the standard ones. I am using a XeCL Drilling Beam and the stats show 46 units every 51 seconds. if my skill is added, it should be 59.8 every 51 seconds. Unfortunately, it is only getting 46 units. This means the skill bonus is not working. Devs, please address this if possible.
Thank you

Cu Vapor Particle Bore:
48 Ore in 48 seconds. With my skills it becomes 55 ore. Perhaps it's just that particular miner.

I can confirm this bug happens also with the Dual Diode Mining Lasers.

Are you sure you are viewing info with the turret equipped and online? I don't have a problem with my laser.

one of my mining-heavy corp-mates reckons the issue is that the shorter duration doesn't work properly .. that the lasers just cut out sooner and only drag out as much ore as they would have in that time .. an example .. say you found a laser that should drag 60 ore in 50 seconds .. after 50 seconds you find its only dragged 50 .. reason is that its done 50/60 of the time for one mining cycle and given you the ore that equates to that . ----- Apologies for any rambling that may have just occurred.

XeCls work just fine for me. I have mining 4, and the info, when they are mounted, shows 55.2 units / activation.

actually they don't work i tried em all on plag and xecl and vapor do 125 plag in their activation period while miner1 does 136 in 1 activation, while time is shorter the amount mines is even less then what they should be mining at base without skill bonus. The xecl barely keeps up with a miner1.. they are royally screwed.. go test for yourself on some roid..

alright the problem as people are saying, is that the bonuses for looted beams show up on the info button, but draw broken amounts.

No ones said that the info doesn't say what it should, but the modules themselves work only as much as they would if you only had mining level one. confirmed for the Cu vapor, XeCl, dual diode, and hell, every other lootable mining beam out there.

I found 2 diffrent miners ... (cant recall the names) both have a time of 50 each cycle but one have 48 ore (thats ok with me) but the other have 26 !! arent those supposed to be BETTER than Miner1's who bring in 40 each 60 sec ...
*confused*

Well some of them aren't better.
For example Xenon basic drilling laser only mines 23 ores for 51 seconds.
Most of others are better, with CuVapor being the best and XeCl being second best.
