In a way it's a shame more people aren't having this FPS problem.
With so few experiencing it, it's unlikely to get investigated. |

If you're running a single client on a newer machine you're not as likely to notice it unless you have FPS monitor up all the time. (Assuming we're all dealing w the same issue.) It's just multiplied so badly once you have multiple clients docked up in station. My entire system temp went up over 10 deg C just logging on and sitting in station a few minutes. I'm gonna pass on any afk in station activity till I hear something new on it I think.

I am really noticing the stuttering even without having FPS Monitor up. It's weird. Small stutter every second or something like that. |

For those with low fps and also the case of market lag: Please send bug reports (best directly through the client - F12) and include as many details as possible. For fps: Check if changing your graphic setting has any impact. Is it only happening with multiple clients, or can you also notice it with one client? For market lag: Please try first also to clear your client cache.

I have issues with the game itself as well:
Takes like 2 minutes to get into the screen where you can choose your character, if you click on your character it takes up to another 2 minutes until your character appears in station or citadel.
When i switch ships it stays a black screen http://puu.sh/rFqQy/a5bdc7c363.jpg, already for 5 minutes now, i mean i cant see my ship or anything also the citadel itself is black. http://puu.sh/rFqGv/def0ca8c0a.jpg
black screen for a while while changing out of the control mode http://puu.sh/rFqJZ/450c88ecf5.png
Its a bit annoying that it looks like this and is so slow just because of an update.
Yours, Karina

Never had this error message before today's patch.
While mining - "Application exefile.exe has been blocked from accessing Graphics hardware."
Result is a black screen and nothing working. Killed the process via Task Manager and loaded the character again. Just happened again on a different character when docking "EVE - CHARACTER (Not Responding)
Also, several "socket closed" messages in the 2 hours I've been on.

Add me to the list of players having FPS and/or lag issues with the game client. The game client seems to be suffering from overall response delay along with FPS drops. I haven't opened the Regional Market yet to see if that makes the lag/delay even worse, as Regional Market being used the first couple times of a play session has been a laggy mess on my end for months.

Not releated to this release, but since no one reacts to bug report, tickets, forum posts, I just repeat a bug report here, in hope of some reaction:
Since at least 2 1/2 weeks we are missing the 3rd high-sec static (type Q063) in Thera. Thera always had 3 null-sec (type: E587), 3 low-sec (type: V898) and 3 high-sec (type Q063) statics. The 3rd high-sec one is missing for 2 1/2 weeks now.
This is quite bad for Thera logistics.

According to all our available design+data (I also checked on old test servers) there should only be 2 high-sec statics in Thera. There is a possibility that a third one might have existed for some time due to a bug, but I have no evidence for this.

Looks odd, looks like a shader glitch to me rather than poly related. But I'm rusty in 3D work :D
Seems to come and go in the 3d ship viewer and doesn't occur at all for me with the Tengu and Proteus. |

Maybe you should consider adding a third highsec static then! Having three null and three lowsec but only two highsec is very unfair to the players living highsec. Thera is a completely unique system and should be accessible to everyone. You can't just cater to the nullsec and lowsec players and forget about highsec. |

To be fair. I don't think a third highsec is a good Idea because it may lead to more New Players coming in, which would end up having an unpleasent gaming expierence.

Submitted bug report EBR-95130. Just to add to the FPS issue. Since this morning the performance reduction in station has gone from 25-30 fps to 45-55 fps. Much better than it was and the difference between focused and un-focused client has reduced but it's still lower than it should be. Between then and now I also updated from live driver 16.9.2 to optional/hotfix 16.10.1 so the improvement could either be related to asset caching/loading or the new driver. All mentioned in the bug report.

today after the patch i notis if i have shader quality on high or medium my gpu spikes and use 50% more in station then if im undocked..
2x clients docked in stations on medium shader = 95% gpu load. 35-50 fps 2x clients undocked on medium = 45% gpu load and 60 fps
1 client docked in station on medium = 68% gpu load 60 fps 1 client undocked on medium = 25% gpu load 60fps
1 client on low shaders in station 15% load 60 fps

The bug I encountered after the patch: 3 out of 5 times, when changing graphic settings manualy ( low to high or the other way around ), game crashes. Define clearing, did you literally delete all gamefiles and redownload eve? I tried verifying game cache, removed 7000 something files, still persists.

Since when has Eve ever been about parity between areas of space? Eve is all about the diversity of space and trade-offs between areas.
There may be a case for actually introducing a third static high-sec connection in Thera, but this isn't it. |

I too experienced massive FPS drops with this new patch even while in station.
There also appeared to be noise (grid, static) on all graphics in the station background and citadels.
A full clear of cache seems to have corrected the lag for me (back up to 200+ fps for a single client) However static issue still seems to remain there.
Short Gif showing static in background: http://i.imgur.com/yZYXVZn.gif (it is a little large, captured and saved at a high fps with no optimization so there is next to no loss in quality) |

Docking and undocking times takes like three times longer.
Going through a gate takes even longer than that and it warps about 15 seconds before coming up on the next system.
Timer keep shows that my ship is in cloak for about 1 minute! but in fact i'm fully visible - no cloak after gatejump.
I tried to flush my cache both on the launcher and ingame, but that didn't help, so now i'll try to reinstall the whole thing to see if it does any good.
I did not had those issues before the update.
I know some other players experienced the same issue while others do not have those issues - a bit strange. |
